  1. Yeah, I kind-of suspect this one isn't happening, but figured I'd ask. That said, I don't think what you're suggesting is quite the same as what I'm looking for. I'm happy enough with the current models (though I'll agree that hand-crossbows would be a nice addition). I want to be able to use the trick arrow power-set and have it look like my character is still using their pistols for it rather than switching weapons between the two sets. Currently, assuming the sets mentioned, if my character has their pistols out and I want to fire a flash arrow, it looks something like this: character switches to bow. character fires an arrow. flash vfx (and in-game effects) happen at target. character switches back to pistols when I start shooting. proposed alternative: character keeps pistols out character fires one of their pistols flash vfx (and in-game effects) happen at target. character still has pistols out, no switching back needed.
  2. Probably a huge pain to implement, but in case it just hasn't come up: I'd love to be able to make a Dual Pistols toon using one of the above-mentioned powersets to expand the swap ammo power into them having all the specialized ammunition. I.E. being able to skip the bow & arrow for trick/tactical arrow and instead have it continue to use my pistols (or presumably assault/beam rifles for the people who like those) for the powers from that set. Any chance of making this a thing?
  3. In case this is useful to anyone else, I did some basic tabulation of pool and ancillary powers across the builds Croax did in this thread. (Note: I just counted these numbers, I don't have the experience to say how much role subjective biases - or just shortcuts due to the massive size of this endeavor - play in them) Fighting, Leaping, and Speed appears in all 246 builds. Leadership appears in 194 builds. 31 builds have Experimentation, comprised of all */Dark Armor, with the remainder being divided between */Ninjutsu and */Super Reflexes. 0 builds featured any of the other pools, leaving 21 with room for a 4th pool (though presumably not with empty slots to plug one into). Soul Mastery was taken for all 18 */Regeneration builds, and only those builds. 132 builds used Body Mastery. The remaining 96 builds use Mu Mastery. I haven't read through the builds to see look for variation in what powers were taken from each pool.
  4. A few (relatively small) features that I'd love to see added to character creation/customization (I'm bundling them here to avoid spamming the forum with new topics, listed in approximate order of interest): Visibility-toggles for weapons, shields, and other accessories. When checking for clipping, or just trying to match color & style between weapons and the rest of the costume, it'd be nice to not need to keep going back to the weapon/shield/whatever tab to see how it works with my current selection of glove, belt, etc. Can we please get a button or toggle (or something) to have the character keep their weapons out while we're working on them? Being able to adjust the color on multiple pieces. The thought that comes to my mind is being able to select all areas with color X, and change them to color Y. (The Costume Colors Linked option is on the right track, but I frequently end up with a few pieces where the primary and secondary need to be reversed, to say nothing of attempts at costumes with more than 2 colors). It's not a big issue, but it would streamline finding the right shade of blue, or deciding whether those accents look better in yellow or white. Vertical camera movement. Most of the time, when I'm playing the game, I have the camera at least slightly above my character, angled down (exceptions mostly consist of while dealing with something above my character, or when flying across the map). That's not an angle I can get in CC, and it's occasionally a problem, when the difference in camera angles causes what looked like a bad-*** head-wrap in CC to instead look like a giant bald spot when I'm playing them. Flight poses. They currently exist under emotes, but getting something closer to the run/stand poses selection to set which one your character should default to using would make me happy.
  5. Thanks. Re: /savage, complicated how? As in I should probably avoid savage for my first attempt?
  6. So, as the title says, I'm relatively new to the game, having previously played a bit of melee and ranged damage, mostly doing solo missions. Dominators look interesting (some kind of crowd-control/damage hybrid?), but are well outside of my experience. I'm looking for something that will have a decently gentle learning curve as I figure out how to dominator, and be fun to play 1-50 (likely still mostly doing missions solo). Do folks here have any suggestions on primaries and/or secondaries that are a good fit for this? Not too concerned if it's not the most powerful level 50+ toon.
  7. Thank you. I'd been considering the idea of a maid look for a staff-wielder ever since finding the broom option there (with other possibilities being a witch, or old monk type), but had been struggling with getting the look to come together.
  8. This came to mind due to a Brute I was working on, but would probably be useful for others as well. I really liked the way the battle kilt went with his over-all look, but I also wanted him to have hooves. There's not currently an option to do both. Would love it if this could be added.
  9. So, with propagation, the four melee archetypes (Brute, Scrapper, Stalker, Tanker) all share most of the same primary and secondary power sets. However, at least some of them got tweaks to fit the different ATs. So, are there any sets that stand out as giving especially different (better, worse, or just different) play experience with one (or more) archetype than with the others?
