  1. I'll try that. Not sure it will work on my build, even though I have fully IO'd all the def. and res.... I think my build has a point where the incoming dmg. is just a little above what it can handle. At least, that's what I notice when running the $Comic Con$ street farm.
  2. Thanks @Zolgar for this guide. It gave me some ideas on how to improve my Rad/Fire Brute farmer. I heard some people talk about "AFK Farming" and I'm still wondering how that works. Anyone care to show me a guide on that? What else do I need to use my Rad/Fire for AFK Farming?
  3. I never noticed you could change the colors. 😳 How did I not notice that before? 🤦‍♂️ And yes, it would be better if by default this was white. Or any other color but black.
  4. Not sure if this was mentioned already, couldn't find it anyway. When at the trainer and choosing a title to set, the preview is too dark to see what it will look like. In the image I've chosen 2 additional titles for the name, but they are hardly visible in the preview.
  5. As always, thanks for all the work you guys put in. 😄 Especially for things like these... Energy Blast > Sniper Blast: Fixed sound sync issues with the tintable fast cast version of the power. This bug started to get really annoying when you've mastered your attack-chain and use the sounds of the attacks to trigger you for queuing up the next power. (aka "hear snipe sound, queue blasts, shout 'crap the animation isn't done yet!') 😜
  6. Poor in influence...yes, new to the game...no, but inexperienced in melee AT's. I've mostly played blasters and controllers during the NC years, but now with Homecoming I wish to try all the AT's. Thanks for the tips.
  7. I once had a character that was build like this, an empath with only 2 powers from the secondary set. Hit level 20 doing some DFB runs. After a couple of normal missions with different teams I deleted the character. Reasons being that: in some teams I hardly had to heal or rez because the team was powerful enough to defeat mobs within seconds. So they practically took no DMG and my DPS was too low to make a dent. Made me feel kinda useless. in some teams I was healing and buffing so much that the stress of watching health bars kept me from enjoying the "scenery". I even remember just setting my char to follow someone so I could stay close to the team while I tried to get everyone's health back up after each fight. the END drain was huge! Even with 3 slotted stamina and END-Reduction in every primary. Now maybe I just couldn't figure out how to correctly build and play a full-empath, but I did figure out that it wouldn't be an AT I'd enjoy playing. I'm sticking mostly with ranged DPS and control types.
  8. For me the magic is still there! ;D I'm logging on whenever I can for as long as I can. I'm creating character concepts in my mind when I'm not home. Scribble bio drafts on small pieces of paper, put them in my pockets and find them a week later in the laundry :P Made a Google Sheet to keep track of all the characters I have created or still want to create. Can't get any character above Lvl 20 because then I want to create a new one!
  9. So, back in the day when NC ran the game some players had the (IMO) brilliant idea of creating a tool that read character data while you were playing. It was called "City Info Tracker"(https://cit.cohtitan.com/). I won't go into technical details on how this worked, but it pulled game-data while playing, sent that data to a database and build a website around it so you could view your character stats even if you weren't playing. I loved using that site to keep track of my character's achievements. And I still use it today to rebuild the characters I once had. I'm wondering if something similar is being developed by the Homecoming-team. Or maybe it's a feature for sometime in the future once everything is stable. I imagine with the team having direct access to the game's databases it would be a lot easier to build a site around that data instead of using an external program that needs to be run while playing. Now, if it's not being developed and people would like something like this I would like to offer my services. I have experience in PHP coding and database management (MySQL and MSSQL).
  10. "Greedy", yeah I can understand that. If 1 player somehow managed to take up 5+ player slots on a server using 1 account thus preventing other players from joining, that wouldn't be good. So me and my son playing together is not a problem. I'm glad to get some clarification in this.
  11. So, on the Discord I read some stuff about multi-boxing. Some people running 5 or more clients at the same time with whatever tooling that is required for that. But I'm wondering how the GM's could check on that. One likely answer would be to actually log in to the game and check player activity for similar @global names, character names, teams with lots of following/auto-run activity, I guess... But here's the thing,... Would it be multi-boxing if I log in with my account on my computer and my son logs in with his account on his laptop and we team-up, just the two of us, and he follows me around the missions and maps? We would both be logging in from the same IP-address, because we share 1 internet connection at home. But it's still 2 different clients, 2 different accounts. How can GM's detect multi-boxing?
