  1. What the game needs -- has always needed since the very first day of CoV -- is PvP missions, where a team from each side queues up and enters an instance, just like a normal mission, except the two teams have competing goals. One team want to power up the doomsday device, but the other team wants to destroy it. One team wants to steal the goodies, while the other team wants to protect them until backup arrives. One team wants to break into a facility, while the other team wants to find and arrest the intruders before they can get in. Apart from the PvP framework of the mission itself, all of these objectives are easily doable within the scope of existing mission design. Queueing up could be handled through the LFG interface. I've never understood why this never became a thing -- it just seems like such an obvious setup to me. Yes, it requires a bit of cooperation to get two opposing teams together, but so do raids and TFs and costume contests. I'm sure the players can handle it.
  2. Granted by Darrin Wade in the finale of the "Midnight Draws Near" arc, the Midnight Visage temp power changed most of my appearance, but left the tail. (I don't think it's canon that Ashley McKnight's dad has a tail at all, much less the exact same tail as my villain.)
  3. Darrin Wade, Sharkhead Isle, second mission (Collect Starr Hair Sample) The click text to select the mission is "Collect a locket of hair." Also, Darrin says, "I need a locket of his hair" in the dialogue. This should be "lock of hair" in each case. A clipping of hair is a lock. A locket is a type of pendant for a necklace. UPDATE: The word "locket" appears again, incorrectly, in the "return to contact" dialogue of "Midnight Draws Near, Part 4."
  4. Throughout (Sharkhead Island) Buzzsaw's level 20-29 missions, she always uses it's instead of its for the possessive pronoun. She should use the apostrophe version only when she means "it is". For the possessive, no apostrophe.
  5. I would vote for no microtransactions of any kind, ever. Subscription only, all items earned in-game. I also like the idea mentioned above of a no-AE server, or at least a server where AE XP is disabled. Maybe revamp the look of the Rogue Isles a bit? The missions there are fabulous, but the zones are horrible. MORE THAN ANYTHING: What I would really love to see is a new fantasy MMO that uses the CoH engine and general character-building framework. You know, like wizards and knights instead of superheroes. I know it would take a lot of new art assets and such, but it's an idea for down the road after you've made some sweet, sweet subscription money.
