  1. Hi. Thanks to @rtypeninja there will be a mass summoning of Kronos Titans on Sunday the 14th of April in Boomtown. This will happen about 20-30 minutes after the usual MSR event (MotherShip Raid), which would place the time around 1815 UTC/1915 BST/2015 CEST. Anyone interested should head to boomtown and ask in broadcast for a league invite. We are presently expecting something around 8 titans to spawn. Hope to see you there Thanks, Des
  2. Hi. I've done two installs of CoH via the LaunchCat app in the last couple of weeks (both on Sonoma OS, an x86-64 MBP and an M2 mini). In both installs onto a clean OS, I get the coh folder in the finder, but I don't get the Launch COH app. It's also not in the launchpad. When I run COH via the launch.sh script it works fine, but I'm not sure where the app has gone as it would be nicer to have the option to just run it from the dock. Where have I gone wrong? I've also removed and reinstalled on the MBP so far, but still don't get the launch coh application. I'm admittedly a MacOS newbie, so any help or hints would be appreciated.
  3. Quick update for Mids 3.6.6.3 (might also be relevent for other versions): Step 3.4 - install dotnetdesktop6 (only this one is needed) Step 5 - you need an additional line here (again you will need to replace myuser with your user account name): export DOTNET_ROOT="/home/myuser/.local/share/wineprefixes/MIDS/drive_c/Program Files/dotnet/host/6.0.19/hostfxr.dll" (I didn't discover this myself, original link for this DOTNET_ROOT thing is here )
  4. This was noticed yesterday (Sunday 22nd, about 1915 GMT) by my team. Rikti dropships don't seem to be following their usual path and are now going through some buildings. Bombs don't seem to spawn or very few do. The dropships appear for two runs of bombing, but still either no bombs spawn on the ground or very few do. No rikti portal in. Seen in both Cap and Sharkshead (Monday, about 0830 GMT) on Reunion. Looks to be back to normal around 1050 GMT in Sharks on Reunion (I didn't check what was happening between this and the earlier time)
  5. Found something that might be a bug, and some testing seems to confirm it. When Trick or Treating on a storm/storm corruptor, i see that occasionally some of the mobs keep coming through the door - they come through and then disappear and come through the door again, and keep doing so. It looks (but this isn't conclusive) that some of the powers might be causing this (pesudopets was an idea thrown around). It seems to be quite repeatably and reliably reproduced at the moment on this toon.
  6. Hi. I've not used Mint for a while, but due to an impending thought about getting rid of Windows, I've had a play and the following process worked for me (tested with fresh install of Fedora 37 and also Ubuntu 2210, which is presumably the closest to Mint of those two). Any comments about steps are hashed out with a # For this I used Mids 3.4.7.5 from the website. DISCLAIMER - I am NOT responsible if doing anything listed here or below causes you issues with your wine setup - I'm not familiar enough with wine to know if I've done anything obviously bad or that might impact use of wine or another program that helps manage it. Also, if doing any of the following causes your wine installation to eat all the cheese in your place of dwelling, it's not my fault. Fedora 37 sudo dnf update #always good to make sure you're up to date sudo dnf install winetricks #This is because you might not want to mess with your default wine setup winetricks --gui create a new prefix, I called mine MIDS just so it stood out, and I went with 64-bit Select the new prefix you just created. make a note of the path displayed in the top bar, probably something like /home/myuser/.local/ and so on. you'll need this later Select "Install a Windows DLL or component" scroll down and select "dotnetcore3" and "dotnetcoredesktop3" #not 100% if these are both needed, but this is what I did to get it working hit OK and there will be some downloading, some complaining about 64-bit prefixes and such, it's all good, just make sure you're installing the 3 or so things it asks for Open a terminal, and we'll assume you downloaded MRB_3.4.7.5.zip into your Downloads directory (some people call these things folders), and we'll make a new directory to host mids: mkdir mids; cd mids; unzip ../Downloads/MRB_3.4.7.5.zip #or use whatever gui tool to do this We now need to tell wine which prefix to use when it runs, and it does this via setting a shell variable - you will need the path you saw in step 3.2, make sure you don't just copy/paste but use the one that is correct for you: export WINEPREFIX=/home/myuser/.local/share/wineprefixes/MIDS We can now run wine against the MidsReborn.exe and get the next bit done: wine ./MidsReborn.exe This will then complain about yet another .NET component you need to download and should hopefully open a web browser window and download the file for you. If for some reason it doesn't, you can get the file from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-desktop-6.0.13-windows-x64-installer?cid=getdotnetcore If for some reason there is an issue and the installer doesn't run, you can run this manually with: wine ../Downloads/windowsdesktop-runtime-6.0.13-win-x64.exe Go back to the winetricks gui, ensure your wineprefix is selected, and at the next window select "Install a font" select "liberation" and "tahoma". winetricks will now go and download them, expect some clicking about 64-bit prefixes and winetricks running a command until you finally get back to the menu with "winetricks - current prefix is...." at the top. You can now hopefully run Mids with the same command we gave in step 6: wine ./MidsReborn.exe Yes, some of the fonts and things don't look quite right, but this is better than not having it. Ubuntu 2210 1. sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade 2. sudo apt-get install winetricks Broadly the same steps as Fedora, but we do have another hoop to jump through before step 6 6a. Fire up winetricks as a gui by running this from a terminal: winetricks --gui 6b. Select your wineprefix, mine was MIDS. At the next window, select "Install a font" 6c. select "liberation" and "tahoma". winetricks will now go and download them, expect some clicking about 64-bit prefixes and winetricks running a command until you finally get back to the menu with "winetricks - current prefix is...." at the top. 6d. you can now perform step 6, 7 and 8 and hopefully you should now have a working Mids. Both To run Mids in future, you only need to do the following in a terminal: cd mids export WINEPREFIX=/home/myuser/.local/share/wineprefixes/MIDS wine ./MidsReborn.exe Or, you can create a script so that you just need to type something like runmids to start mids: nano runmids #!/bin/bash export WINEPREFIX=~/.local/share/wineprefixes/MIDS wine ./mids/MidsReborn.exe chmod +x runmids Enjoy.
  7. Indeed, thank you to all who have assisted and continue to assist - your efforts are greatly appreciated.
  8. Indeed, thanks @Telephone for the update, very much appreciated
  9. 57 emails in my inbox (used tos huffle inf and IOs around) Loads more than that as character items though (enough that I'd prefer to not count them - there are "many")
  10. I have the same issue, although I'm trying to claim Enhancement convertors. I can definitely confirm it's not my internet connection as I typically have a game client running on another PC without any issues (and have more than enough bandwidth and nothing else running in the background that might be causing network related issues). Also, when the issue occurs, everything else is fine in terms of wandering around in the game with that same toon trying to reclaim items. It seems to be semi intermittent, ie if I try to claim items early in the UK day I don't hit this too much, but trying to do the same in the UK evening I've found it more likely to happen, which would also coincidentally align with higher player numbers suggesting there might be a limit somewhere that gets hit more easily with more people on (as has been previously suggested). If someone who has access to the logs can check, I hit the "character or account item claim failed, another request is pending" error at 13:34, 13:35, 13:37, 13:38, 13:54 UK time today (21st) on Reunion, hopefully this can aid in finding the issue as I appreciate finding cause for an intermittent issue can be tricky.
  11. Thanks SuggestorK - that is spot on, I've completed the lv15/20 one now. That is annoying, but at least I can see the logic of this issue now. Hopefully this can be addressed in a patch sometime.
  12. I have also seen this with lv 45-50 IOs as well - the badge doesn't increment the count for IOs I make of that type (in this case they were end mod so it seems to be something that affects all invention badges other than the lv 10 acc one for some reason). This is also not just on one toon, another has the same issue - I was able to craft the 10 lv10 acc IOs (Major badge), but when I crafted 10 lv 15 acc IOs only 6 of them counted for badge progress.
  13. Hi. I'm trying to get the field crafter badge on one of my toons. I've started with making lv10 acc IOs, and I have been awarded the badge for it. I've now tried to make lv 15 acc IOs, which I tend to do in batches of 10, but for somee reason I have only been given 6 of the 13 increments for the badge. I have done the same for lv 25 acc IOs and for some reason have only been awarded 7 of the 17 increments for the badge. I've zoned and tried making some more in another zone, but it still doesn't increment. I'd prefer to not throw any more inf away if this is a bug, so I'm a little reluctant to try any others. Relogging and zoning don't help.
  14. Awesome 🙂 Thank you for the information, it is much appreciated.
  15. That was also my guess Peerless, but it would be nice to know.
  16. How will the new hardware be divided up? Quite a few of us play on Reunion which as far as I know is still hosted in Europe. Is one of these upgrades relevant for this instance?
  17. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue - everything worked this time around so this probably doesn't matter any more.
  18. Count me in (for the Fridays I'm around anyway), will bring a cold/dark troller.
  19. Thanks for the response 😊 I wasn't on any platform - this was just us running up to it and attacking it on the grass near the water. I don't have any macros or rebound keys, I'm using the default tray powers that get generated when you get the power and I was using them with number keys. I'll see if I can run it again in the next few days and see if I can confirm this issue.
  20. Just ran a Market Crash with a team on my Elec/Kin controller and noticed that none of my transferrence or transfusions seemed to do anything to anyone in the party (or myself) when they hit the Crimson Prototype. The graphic for the power hitting showed up, so I know that I had hit it, but I didn't receive any endurance when I was in melee range with it and hit it with transferrence. This happened multiple times until it was defeated (both powers). Attack powers worked fine, and my team was receiving my leadership buffs, so I'm confident these powers should have worked as expected. No one else mentioned issues, and the Crimson Prototype could certainly be damaged by everyone and debuffed, just seemed to not work with these two. I'm not sure if Fulcrum Shift was also affected, to be honest I wasn't looking for it as my priority at the time was running out of endurance. The powers worked fine on other mobs on that map, it was just the Crimson Prototype.
