SR could definitely work as well! QQ: can you recolor shruriken/exploding shruriken to be bright red, kind of like when Gambit charges things?

I’ve always dug the idea of this combo. Water Blast is a little more “user intensive” due to the build/spend mechanic, and Force Field is (I believe) one of the more “hands off” support sets. How do you feel it works on a Corruptor compared to a Defender? Shields will be less, but Scourge ticking on Whirlpool and what not might help with the OP’s desire to solo AV’s.

X-Men 97 has me wanting to create a Gambit type hero. I’m leaning Stalker since it gives the “Rogue” (pun intended) vibes Gambit has. I was bouncing some ideas off @Infinitum but wanted to hear from you all! I was leaning Staff Fighting/Energy Aura with either Weapon or Energy epic pool. Also, with some re-coloring, Ice Armor could potentially work with Energy Absorption. I’d love to hear ideas though, especially around which Epic pool you would choose!

Great call outs all around. In regards to Nin’s T9 and Unleash Potential, is the idea to cycle both those powers and use Nin’s heal/end recover to try and offset the crashes?

All of this. My Jedi is a DB/EnA user as well. It just so happens that the combo is top tier as well 😂 I agree, Vengeful Slice’s Dragon punch animation is the business.

This does sound fun, and like a boss killer haha. That was my question, if I'd be able to fit in TWO attacks in the span of EC's +crit window.

So I gotta ask you @SomeGuy: between Shield and Ninjitsu, which do you like with MA?

Interesting. So with Ninjitsu, you can Shinobi in (lol) have a high chance to crit with Eagle’s Claw from hide and immediate follow up with Dragon’s Tail for a potential AOE crit.

Doesn’t MA have a mechanic that gives it a higher crit chances as well? Could be a nice synergy.

My only worry with Ninjitsu is the complete lack of AOE. I guess though that MA has an inherent increase in accuracy, correct? You could probably forgo Focused Accuracy and pick up one of the patron powers with an AOE (Ball Lightning, Fire Ball, etc).

Would be interested in this myself!
