  3. From my experience and what others have documented procs are not reliable in rain type powers. The proc rate is extremely low even with long recharge powers like sleet. I am not too sure how reliable glue arrow is for procs. I think you would be better off focusing on damage and recharge then procs on a blaster in general.
  4. Fearsome Stare should be your main to-hit debuff. It is recommended that it slotted with a to-hit debuff set (provides -17% to-hit) and not a fear set (little to almost no benefit to extending the fear duration). Darkest Night (which provides another -17%) is a bonus when you are going to have something live long enough to make it worth casting it. I also slot Dark Servant with to-hit debuff set since it applies to all its attacks. Here is my Thugs/Dark build for comparison. My defense ranges from 29% to 33% and soft-capped S/L/E resists which has worked out fine for me and my pets (even the T1s) in +4 and incarnate content. The pets will take damage since not everything will get debuffed, some attacks are auto hit and sometimes that 5% chance gets through and that's why you have Twilight Grasp.   5. Thanks. Might be Melee core enabled on one build and not the other. Same thing with accolades to show max HP and HP/s. Also check how many mobs are set on Rise to the Challenge and Melee Core. I usually keep them set to 1 to see minimum combat regen. Regen should be around 730% with 1 mob. With Melee core enabled it goes to 1000%. With 10 mobs it goes from 1240% to 1660%.
  6. Probably the Ageless and also the level shift. The resistance goes from 85% for 30 secs, 42.5% for another 30 secs, and then 21.25% for 60 secs.
  7. Opening your build up it looks like you have more than enough accuracy without Nerve. You can check by setting the default base to hit in Mids to 48% (assuming a level shift) or 39%. Ageless Radial is perma (just less effective over time). I have it and Hasten on an auto rotation. I have less accuracy in my build and I haven't noticed any issues with missing besides the bad luck with 5% chance to miss. I recommend creating a chat tab just with Hit Rolls enabled so you can view what happened after a fight.

  9. They key to WP builds is high HP which in turn makes the regen more beneficial. For my single target rotation, I have enough recharge to cycle Shatter-> Clobber -> Jawbreaker. At cap Pulverize becomes a slot mule or when a mob has little health left. For AOE, I cycle Crowd Control -> Whirling Mace -> Shatter. For a mix, I do Crowd Control -> Shatter -> Clobber. You can't compare the kill speed of rad/fire (which is a farmer) to a any WP build. There is a reason why /fire is used for farms and it is all about the DPS boost from the secondary (thanks to burn mostly) and easy fire resist cap. I have a rad/fire farmer as well and it will clear +4/8 fire farm way faster than my WM could ever clear a +4/8 S/L farm. My rad/fire is only for farming and my WM/WP is for all other content.

  12. 189 is the new base healing of Twilight Grasp at 50 and you are comparing it to ~420 which was the fully enhanced value pre-change (base pre-change was around 210). With enhancements, my Twilight Grasp is showing 373 post-change. It was reduced by around 10% base not half.
  13. Here is my War Mace/Willpower build that I am working towards with all attuned sets and no purples. It should be comparable to TW. It will have soft capped S/L/F/C & melee with E/N/P & AOE covered enough with a purple when needed. S/L resist at 83% without SOW. With accolades, base regen at 706% with 1 mob and 1222% with 10 and 2500+ hit points. Hasten a few seconds short of perma until Ageless Radial or keeping the amplifier buff active. The build shows my incarnate plans as well. I am not a fan of focused accuracy in general. You should be able to get enough accuracy from slots, set bonuses and Kismet to cover what you need. I always set Mids to a base to hit of 48% which is the value for +3 mobs (which should cover anything once you have the level shift). My attacks all have over 100% chance for +3s in the build. I went with Energy Mastery since I didn't have slots to spare and Superior Conditioning and Physical Perfection are nice single slot powers for Willpower. I don't know yet if I will really need the extra Performance Shifter or Panacea in those slots (so I will probably just go with generic IOs initially). High Pain Tolerance really needs to be slotted with healing since that is what boosts your hit points significantly and in turn boosts your regen capability. I use SOW as the slot mule for the 3% defense IOs. For Gaussian, in general, I like just single slotting the chance for build up so it has a 90% chance to go off any time I click Build Up. The more recharge you add if you have Spiritual or Agility alpha the proc chance will just keep going down. Hope this helps in your planning.   15. With my Water/Cold Corruptor, I found Sleet and Whirlpool to be completely unreliable powers for procs so I took them out. I think it is a general issue with rain/dot aoe powers and the new ppm system.
