Encountering an ancient vampire while ToTing the door (way off in the islands of Talos) to the mission I had just completed -- and leveled to 25 in -- came as a bit of a shock to my Symph/Sonic Dom. During the battle I went through two cycles of domination, burned all of my insps, died, revived, burned through some more large insps (I mail copious amounts of these from high alts to myself), thought I had him until he healed (again), then thought I had him AGAIN (I was greatly aided by keeping his Dark Servant confused) when...he suddenly despawned. A cool mob that certainly was an effective trick, but probably a little too much for that character. Something I might try on my higher level alts, but maybe not at lvl 25.

Figured I'd poke my head in here...I have been employing the "buy 10 yellows, convert to rare, convert to better rare" method for a while now, fully endorse. I am sure I don't do it optimally, but don't really care. I probably have on the order of 500 recipes waiting to be crafted and normally buy another 10 for each 10 I pick up out of the AH. I'll basically post anything that has a good bidding/available ratio that will sell for 1M+. Not worth the time to worry any more than that on hitting the big sellers, I figure I'll see some of them often enough anyway. I don't know if I'm optimal with my choices on converters either - sometimes I'll buy them on the AH, sometimes I'll cash in merits. I figure I'll just replenish those through buying Super Packs. I likely have more assets than I'll need for a good while (have been accumulating faster than leveling), so I have a hard time sweating my market inefficiencies.

Oh, I'll do that. Just after running a Grav/Storm to 50 originally and now recreating her and getting her up to 40, it is going to take some adjustment. Also in some map configurations, you can only back up so far (turns, corners, caves). Not quite sure on the radius. My typical way to handle a group is to hit them with Crushing Field, drop Freezing Rain, then cycle Gravity Distortion/Lift/Propel (and tornado/lightning storm if I really want some chaos/need to whittle down a boss/EB). In any event I want everyone in front of me, at a comfortable distance. I guess I'll need to play with that distance when I can. I've never TP'd Singy (or as I've named it, "Big Wisp"), but I do like employing Wormhole to bring mobs to me (mostly to separate groups). I'll probably need to be careful with that now too, to not port them within Singy's gravitational radius.

The effect is neat, but functionally I'm not a fan. I do not want it to pull mobs -- which I have immobilized (often in a patch of freezing rain) -- TOWARDS me. I built for ranged defense for a reason.

Bah. I rather liked that base teleporters would put you in places that were otherwise not serviced by trams. For instance, that far corner in FF near Indigo.

Hrm. I think at least back on live I liked having the utility of Stun on my (solo) Inv/EM tank.* Sometimes having a means of soft control was useful. (Sappers?) * he hasn't been priority for leveling up again and is somewhere in the teens edit: I guess it might be workable with the Barrage change, I will have to see how the new mechanics play out. And yes, I am probably an atypical player. I imagine I'm one of the few who isn't all that keen on the sniper power changes because it slows me down solo waiting for the out-of-combat status to flip to engage a new mob.

Would it be possible to allow supergroup invites to alts on the same account (who are, by definition, not logged in)? I had essentially maintained a SG of one years ago and would like to accomplish the same w/o having to make a shell account just to get around the invite protections.

A-ha! Found it. Powers->Combat Attributes->Right-click/monitor attribute. (If anyone else wonders the same thing.)

Before the shutdown I made a habit of having a small display window open with my stats like inf, xp to level, defense, resistance, etc. I can not for the life of my remember how to display and customize that window. Help?
