  1. My opinions: Interface Reactive for Damage reduction and Degenerative for -Max HPs seem to be the most popular. Core if you want to lean into the debuff, Radial if you want more damage. I use Diamagnetic on some characters for -To Hit and -Regen. None of the others I tried seemed worth it, unless it's for theme, which is always worth it. Hybrid I tried Control on a few controllers and dominators and was underwhelmed. With a group immobilize and a fear power, Radial adds a stun to every attack, but it didn't whelm me. I had Control Core on a Fire/Kin, and the Psionic damage proc seemed nowhere near 75%. The 40% status resistance is nice, if you have concerns. Unless you are strictly support, Assault is always good; death is the ultimate debuff. If I can't think of anything, I usually go with Support (and almost always put that on my tankers), Core if I have pets, Radial if not. The end discount, +def, +acc are all nice too. I rarely use Melee, so I can't be too helpful there. BRB...I just tested Melee Core on an Ill/Kin... 10.7 status protection is sweet, ~16% resist +1% per foe in melee. Regen is OK. Radial (taunts) +1.5 def per foe, 2 status protection per foe (within 10') won't help with AVs without minions. Now that I've played around on Test Server, I realize I want ALL the Hybrids! And Lores, and Destinies (I usually have a few of those).

  3. We had two Dark Defenders, each one capable of over -150% to hit with Darkest Night, Blackstar, Fluffies, etc, and still the enemies shrugged the debuffs off like they weren't even there.
  4. Unless there is a hidden 7th neighborhood, we tried hunting in all six evident, even taunting several Freaks over to Babylon where they aren't usually. I'm going to get a character to come by the contact naturally and see if that works.
  5. First mission, defeat 20 Freaks. Hunting in every zone in St. Martial, counter never moves no matter how many freaks defeated. Hunted them in Sharkhead, no dice. Re-logged, partner took lead with same result. Re-logged, use pillar in Ouro rather than base, same result. Ran and completed prior mission fine, then began this mission again, defeating freaks does nothing. Any clues? Thanks.
  6. I just tested it (should have done that before complaining) in Beta: Targeting an ally is a 6 second recharge, targeting a foe is 20 seconds.
  7. It looks like Recall Friend has been utterly destroyed for those of us with more than one friend. A 20 second recharge?! That's going to really hurt the Dark Defenders that need to quickly add defeated teammates to the pile prior to Howling Twilight, to anyone that is scooping up stragglers to get in the mission door. edit: In Beta, Teleport Target (ally) recharge is 6 seconds, Teleport Target (foe) recharge is 20 seconds. And I can't see never not using Combat Teleport ever again.
  8. It was the last thing I needed for the Field Crafter badge, but I still have neither. I ran the tutorial solo, and got zilch. Then I teamed up with an alt who ran the invention tutorial with me tagging along... they got the Inventor badge, I still did not. I read the pamphlet, I got doodly squat. She reads the pamphlet, she gets the badge. Screenshot attached. Any help is appreciated.
  9. I own a microphone and a guitar. Does that make me a musician? No, it does not, since I can't sing or play. I also own a busted up bicycle. I don't ride it, so I'm not a bicyclist. If I fixed it up and actually used it, then you could call me a bicyclist, until then, I am just a pedestrian. What you have doesn't define who you are, what you do does.
