  1. Thanks for the advice. Turned out to be a hectic weekend so I didn't get to work on this build, but I'm taking your advice on board and will be playing with the build in Mids this week.
  2. Ok, that makes a lot of sense! When I played on Live I simply slotted whatever looked good and went out to kill and be killed. Being older and (not so much) wiser now I'm trying to understand the finer points of enhancements. I appreciate all the time you've taken to explain this to me. Thank you again!
  3. This gives me a lot to think about, taking the stalker/scrapper differences into account. If I have more than one LotG Global Recharge slotted, does double the bonus? I was told yes, now I'm thinking the person I listened to might have been a bit confused. I'll definitely go take a look at the other sets and see what the bonuses are compared with what I've been using. I've tended to stick with one enhancement set in a power, that's maybe something else I need to start looking at. Is there a reason you don't toggle Tough on (just curious as to the reasoning)? Also, do you have that slotted with the proc powers? God I feel like a total noob, can't thank everyone enough for the advice they've given.
  4. Oh, I'm right with you there! I made my account and logged in as soon as I heard about the rebirth (ironically, just before Easter, 2019). Almost cried when I defeated my first prisoner in Outbreak, by the time I saw Miss Liberty there was no holding back the tears. This "dudette" was home! I've gone back to other games I've played, thinking I'd like to see this or that again, but it was never the same feeling as CoX. More of a "okay, seen it, that's enough, goodbye". This is different. I used to even log into that Paragon Chat program where you could visit Atlas Park, couldn't do anything but sit and talk to other players who happened to be there. The fact that we have it back still amazes me. And during these hard times, it's a life saver. I'm pretty shy in the real world so this provides me enough social contact in what is still an extremely safe on-line environment, plus I get to release my frustrations by beating up a Carnie or two. But you all know what I'm talking about, this is just preaching to the choir. It's so good to be home.
  5. Hmm....interesting, never really thought about CT. Definitely going to look into it. I've been mostly soloing with her; tbh she's been sitting around waiting for an overhaul. She was my first toon since Rebirth and was always fun to play. I'm going to take your input on board, look hard at my defenses and see what I can come up with.
  6. This is gonna sound sappy, I know, but I just wanted again to say a huge thank you to the Homecoming team for making it possible to play our game again. The work the team does to update and build onto the game, at no charge to the players, is deeply appreciated. Here in RL we've been locked down since the second week in November and I honestly believe that without being able to escape to Paragon City I'd be totally insane by now.
  7. Thanks for replying. I've had the extra slots in health and stamina since early levels and you're right, I need to switch that. I tend to look at the two main powersets and forget to adjust those as I level up. I'm struggling with resistance here, not really sure how to increase it. Hopefully someone will be able to point me in the right direction.
  8. Can anyone give me advice on a good SJ/SR build? My scrapper is level 50 and I took some bad advice about a build and now she seems to be lacking endurance as well as some hp. She does decent damage but it feels she should be stronger. I don't plan to keep Teleport Target and am not sold on Confront or Elude, so basically I'm option to any options.   10. I'm trying to resurrect my Archery/Tactical Arrow blaster with the I27 release. Can anyone help me with build suggestions?
  11. Ok, my bad. After a fight I'm kicking so many around I had assumed they were the standard arrow. Still looks like a toilet plunger, but nvm.

Don't know if it's possible to change this, but if some good hearted graphic wizard out there could make an arrow that actually looked like an arrow when shot instead of a toilet plunger it would be greatly appreciated. My archery blasters arrows look elegant in the quiver, but then when shot and laying on the ground look like something the plumber left behind. Example below:

  14. I've been wanting to start an archery toon for a while and have also been thinking of starting a sentinel. Does anyone know if archery is feasible for a sent? Also, what secondary would you recommend? Any help is appreciated.
  15. This is bizarre but when I set it to off, I get the pop up "do you want to allow this change" and I click yes, then the setting automatically goes back to block. I'm about to throw the entire thing out the window.
