  1. A couple of observations, you have broken the "rule of 5" with 1.5% Smashing Lethal. The Impervious Skin sets in Tough and Mind over Body are not working. So those 4 slots need to be moved or something put in them.

((( in Mids, click the Window button in top bar, select "Sets & Bonuses" this will show a popup with all the sets and there bonuses, it will also highlight in RED any bonus over the rule of 5 cap)))

Divine Avalanche will take a Luck of the Gambler 7.5 recharge to max out your 5.

Health should be slotted with the health set procs: Panacea +hp/+End , Numina +Regen/Recovery, Regenerative Tissue +Regen or a Miracle depending on your Endurance needs.

You could slot atleast 4 Power Transfer: Chance to Heal procs in your Endurance Recovery powers. I can attest having multi of this proc works very well.

I would 2 slot Hasten with +5 Reharge IOs

And just personal opinion but I hate the slots in Kick. I would move all those slots. At the very least slot Sting of the Wasp or Divine Avalanche. Or put 3 more in the Taunt and get the full Mocking Beratement set.

*note 7.5% recharge from sets does NOT count for the same 7.5% recharge from Luck of the Gambler.

I enjoy my Willpower it's a nice set.  On mine I soft capped Fire/Cold/Energy/Negative defense

  2. I will never understand getting so invested in game that you would attack someone. I enjoy the hell out of CoH but if it wasn't fun I wouldn't do it. And being mad isn't fun.

Now that said, I find this video so hard to watch. He talks in "clickbait" : constantly saying he is about to tell you something, get ready for it, don't leave a comment yet, wait till you hear it

    .......so annoying.

  3. Yeah I just finished Maxwell's missions on my current mostly solo project a AR/Dev blaster. No super powers just a well trained soldier. That of course means no travel power, sprint and athletic run with a jetpack when flying is needed. I have been slotting him up as I leveled though.

Been a nice change of pace from my usual fast smash/blast/boom game

  4. So I started a new marketer guy awhile back. And I wanted to completely isolate him so I made a new account for him.  I powerleveled him to level 10 and with what inf he got in the farm he was off and running.

Now I mention this because you say getting convertors with merits is easier and question why buy em and why buy so many.

This market toon I made has no merits, will never get merits, so I buy convertors, hundreds at a time. Now I buy at certain price and wait for bids to fill. A lot of the higher price you see if people in a hurry and just buying say 10 or 20 at a time.

Say you got a purple to drop but it is an ACC/DAM but you need a DAM/RECHARGE to complete the set. You buy 10 or 20 convertors and get the one you need.

  5. One thing I would add is be patient, most if not all of the task force you listed are at times the WST (weekly strike target) and when they are they will be run alot more without worry of badges/master of stuff.

Also the recent patch added a few new Master of badges and that  has increased the Master runs.

Please note that you are limited to one automatic completion per day.

So is this been changed? If so, is the change just for the holidays or permanent?

I see 2 others mentioned it but one implied no and the other implied yes and you liked both so....

Anyways, Happy Holidays and thank you again for another year of this game we call home.

  7. @DarknessEternal I am not 100% sure what damage numbers you are looking for but here goes:

The first place to look is here, lots of useful info:

    infobox.jpg.4df6c26b294344f1b022891c0658d163.jpg

But one thing to take into account is how you have Mid's set up in the config options. I use a base to-hit value of 39. But Mids comes set to 75.

Also you can change which numbers it shows by changing Damage per Activation, Damage per Second or Damage per Animation.:

Changing these options will will change what the numbers it gives are.

Another window I use sometimes is this one:

How did you get MIDS to display accuracy for Irradiated Ground?  (and other combat numbers)

I was replying to a poster about improving their farm build. And was telling them that improving over all accuracy for all powers had helped me.

Irradiated Ground is a pseudo-pet power and as such has no Accuracy numbers.

What other combat numbers do you mean?

  9. Recently I uninstalled Mids, this caused deletion of most of my desktop shortcuts and all my text files. This turns out to be a known problem.

Now I restored my HC Launcher by going to the game install folder and using "Send to..Desktop" on the shortcut there.

But now the launcher takes a full minute or more to launch.

One of the things I loved about the new launcher was how fast it loaded, I do not understand what is causing this slow down.

Any ideas of what I might do/try to get it to work like it did?

    Would reinstalling help?

  10. Yeah I have been searching ...nadda....used a recovery tool app....found text files, recovered them...they are just gibberish now. The file is there but the contents is gone.

One odd thing is, one of the things I really liked about the Launcher was fast it would load. Now for some reason it takes well over a minute or two to load.

This is the launcher itself not the game......why would removing it's shortcut effect it's launch time?

sigh ..........so much lost info........gonna go cry now

  11. Like the titled says, with the new version of Mid's out  I decided to uninstall the version I had.

As soon as I uninstalled it, It removed it's shortcut, HC Launchers shortcut and ALL the text files I had on my desktop!!!

I am a note taker, I had 15+ text files on my desktop with info I fucking need. I looked in my recycle bin and did a file search. I can not find them.

WHERE ARE MY FUCKING TEXT FILES!

  12. I will never understand the logic of not raising the mobs or missions difficulty, let's just nerf the players.

One example I would make is Endurance management, I know I'm not alone in using Incarnates for end issues.....but like others have said "then don't do it"...well, ok, I won't.

Though my favourite place to use them has to be Mender Ramiel's arc.  If you *don't* click the pile of debris before the final two rooms (past the Crey guards and into the Rikti,) nothing spawns in the portal room. Tossing trip mines throughtout he spawn points for at least the front two portals - don't put them where Cpt Holz or Honoree spawn - clears them out by the time you run back from the glowie.  (Assuming, of course, you have the recharge to put more than a few down before falling asleep.)

I am absolutely doing this when my guy hits 50, this is great.

I would probably swap the Achilles and kd proc in irradiate for damage procs, though I can see how the kd might be neat solo. The Achilles will not go off reliably enough for useful aoe followup, and you won't be using irradiate much in st scenarios where it would be of more benefit.

Good tip, yeah I was thinking of my Chance for Knockdown in Ground Zero on my melee guys. And I was not sure about the Achilles
