I was a member briefly, but most of my interactions were as part of the Shield of Paragon. If the names Chaos Particle or Silver-Rook ring any bells, then heya. Good to see you all back in the field again. Hopefully we'll cross paths once more.

Granted I'm super new, but from what I've seen thus far, there's RP channels for both general use and specific servers in the Homecoming Discord. More meant for organizing RPers than actually conducting RP. I've also seen a few of the supergroup recruitment messages containing links to group-specific Discords. I couldn't point you to any one in particular as it all seems a bit in flux, but that could be worth checking out. Hope that helps.

I don't remember when it was specifically, but it was shortly after the Rikti War Zone revamp, as dropship raids had been a recent addition to the game. Our supergroup leader was a pretty well-liked figure in our group and our coalition, but wanted to step down and retire the character. We'd concocted a huge group event involving a Rikti attack on our base, complete with a near-complete base teardown while we filled it with piles of rubble. As far as our RP circle was concerned, the boss had died in the attack, getting everyone to safety via the teleporters before blowing up the base to take down as many troops with him as he could. I'm not sure if it was us or a coalition mate that set the space up, but we converted a room to a funeral parlor. Plenty of people - myself included - gave speeches to pay their respects. Afterwards, we rallied together the biggest group we could muster to take to the skies and drop as many dropships as we possibly could - complete with many of us temporarily switching our costumes around to bear the boss' iconic eyepatch. That moment was one of the big defining events for my at-the-time RP main, spurred a number of other characters to their own stories, and here, years later, is the inspiration for the first character I ended up making on Everlasting. I'd say Blinding Strike was a legend, but... after that? I guess he still is. Thanks for the memories, kiddo.

That's something that a resident code-monkey would need to answer. Anyone can say it's possible, but until someone who's got their hands in the code can confirm or deny if it's possible, it's just speculation at best - and honestly, I think there's enough other ideas I'd (and I'm guessing other people) would want to see over a log-in calendar that I could see it getting passed up just for priority's sake. ... but if there WAS a log-in calendar, I'm thinking either influence or reward merits. XP boosts would be a bit useless for a level 50 (unless you made new alts, which not everyone does), and enhancements range from "not really useful at all" to "so broken if we got it for free". Maybe some random salvage packs? Hope that answers your question, even if I share the sentiment of, "I'd rather they not."

Personally, I'm planning to go more with new characters than bringing back old ones. Most of the ones I'd want to bring back had some strong RP attachments to other people - folks who may not necessarily be here - and I'd rather not have to deal with retconning a whole mess of stuff to make it work. Plus there's a boatload of power sets I never got around to trying, so. Might as well have an excuse to do that, right?

Haven't made anyone on this server yet, but from live, we have... Chaos Particle, Rad/Rad Defender, member of The Silver Guard. Golden-Rook, Will/DB Tanker, member of The Reciprocators. Didn't have too many other recognizables, as far as the RP scene is concerned, so that's all for now.
