  1. Hey all, trying to get some ideas for a Banished Pantheon theme look for a character. She will be a Storm/Storm Corrupter, so wanted to go with a more magic/caster look, trying to incorporate the Bioluminescence that the high end Banished Pantheon caster have, but cant quite find the right combo. Anyone have any ideas they can share? Thanks!
  2. The VEATS theme is that they bring signifigant boost to the rest of the team, mainly via the fact that they have their own set of Leadership toggles that they can stack with the Leadership pool; which allows them to provide a powerful boost to the whole team's defense and offense while still being able to dish out the damage. As far as breaking down each spec: Arachnos Soldiers: Soldiers start out as Wolf Spiders, who use a standard Arachnos Rifle with a mix of gun and grenade attacks. At level 24, you can then pick to specialize as either a Crab Spider or Bane Spider: Crab Spiders utilize the Crab Backpack and a focus towards AoE attacks. They couple that with solid defenses, a heal/hp buff, and pet summons. A well built Crab Solider is a tanky mid/close range AoE beast, who can use the pet summons to help supplement their average single target damage. Bane Spiders use the Arachnos Mace with a focus towards strong single target melee. They have a stealth toggle which allows them to gain a potential crit from stealth like a stalker and also bring solid defense/resistance debuff attacks. A well built Bane Spider is a powerful Stalker-like melee who can bring solid buffs to keep his fellow melee alive but also debuff priority targets easily. Arachnos Widows: Widows start out with a mix of melee/ranged claw attacks. At level 24, you can then pick to specialize as either a Fortunata or Night Widow: Fortunata's are able to pickup a whole set of ranged psychic attacks, all of which have some form of CC built into each attack. They also gain a stealth toggle; both a single target and AoE Confuse; and a strong Team ACC buff which also gives the Widow even more +DEF and a huge chunck of PSI resist. A well Built Fortunata is a strong hybrid PSI Blaster/Controller, who also provides strong team buffs and very strong self defenses as well. Night Widows pickup even more claw attacks, along with a small amount of PSI ranged attacks. They too also gain a stealth toggle, but theirs allows for them to crit out of stealth like a stalker. A well built Night Widow is a strong Stalker-like claw melee class, with strong self and team defenses.
  3. Hey all, I have a Beam/Bio Sentinel that I am currently working on fully IOing out, but I have been tossing around thoughts on a Water/ Sentinel and threw together a Water/Rad build. I just want to see what folks may think about it. Water/ looks good due to the strong mix of single target with AoE, plus the inherent -def/-res in the attacks. Rad looks to be a strong resist set so I can supplement it with Barrier for the defenses boost. 4. Bumping this since I decided to go with an Earth/Earth Dom. Just hit 35 so I've unlocked Epic power pools and am working on unlocking the Patron power pools as well. I am debating Fire Mastery versus Soul Mastery. Fire looks to give lots of AoE damage versus Soul which will get me +end and +dmg cooldowns. Any recommendations on one versus the other? Does Rain of Fire do alot of damage or is it better to focus on Fire Ball and Melt Armor?
  5. So, I was playing around with Dominators and ended up stumbling onto a Controller build that I like even better. I'm leveling him now and he is up to 35, mostly grouping. I enjoy the combo quite a bit and was hoping to see how my eventual slotting will work out. I planned this out as best I could, given that there is very little info out there about this specific combo. The only hole I see is that I am vulnerable to CC, mainly Holds, but i couldn't find any way to really fix it, so I went with Acrobatics to hopefully at least blunt the pain if it happens. Is there anything I have overlooked or maybe slotted too heavily versus better slotting somewhere else? 6. Widows ans Soldiers only get access to the Patron Power Pools. Youll have to switch back to Villain then go to Grandville and complete one of the patrons first story line to unlock them. Once you do, you are free yo go back to hero; you will still have access to the power pools.
  7. I had thought to help shore up my defenses by going for overall defenses. What would be better slotting options for the defenses? As far as the Fighting Pool, do you mean to pickup Tough and Weave?

  9. I may be wrong, but I seem to rememer something about ability anomations being tied to the specific attak. So, the best solution might be to create a copy of one of the crab grenade attacks, tweak the projectile to be the web grenade, and just add the power to the crab skill tree. Maybe h Anza ve it unlock at the same levrl as one of the other attacks. This way those who want y to keep the gun animation can, and those who want crab only attacks can as well.
  10. Hey all, I have a concept character that could either work for an Elec/Elec or an Earth/Earth Dom, but info about both combo's is pretty scarce. So I'm hoping someone can help with some general info. For Elec/Elec the issue I could see is that its 'soft control' of endurance draining may be lackluster in teams where the mobs end up dead before you can fully drain em and leave them neutered or AV's who have huge endurance pools that you may never be able to drain at all. Is this true in game or does the drain at higher levels with multiple abilies go quick? For Earth/Earth, it seems strong with the -def debuff on its atttacks, but the immobilizes look like they may interfere with the 'soft control' effects of knockup/knockdown with a lot of Earths controls. Does the set still work if you end up skipping the immobilizes and stick to the other abilities or is it still worth using them?
  11. Unfortunately I don't have any other computers to try that on. Now I'm also having an issue where my other character gets hung up trying to log onto Mercy Island. The progress bar goes to about 40% then just hangs till it eventually times me out.
  12. I'm having the same issue. One of my character is now stuck trying to zone into Port Oakes. Progress bar zips to about 40% then barely trickles up till I get timed out back to the login screen. Very frustrating issue.
