  1. How is playing +range for cones going? Across ATs I have had multiple instances of wanting to try +range for various cones and ranged+pbaoe stuff but haven't ever pulled the trigger in it. Worth looking into?
  2. Hello all. I've been running this toon off and on for awhile but I mostly play blasters, and haven't built a toon in a few months. I want to build this guy out next, funds are not a problem. I'd like some help with how to do so. There is only one caveat; I WILL be running Savage Leap, Caltrops, Spring Attack, and Exploding Shuriken. These are must includes. With this in mind, can anyone throw something together as a template for how to build this guy?
  3. I am just about to build a dark/dark blaster after starting him as a corruption. About this build, what's it's focus? Are you pulling as much damage as possible or have you dug into the control aspects? Any tips for maximizing damage? (I switched from corr to blaster because the damage potential is so much greater). Have you tried a dark/dark sentinel since the rework?
  4. Hey all! Me again. Just finished building out my ice/fire/fire Hardmode build. Went with what is considered the standard fare. Was wondering, what incarnates am I T4'ing for HM? Right now I have T4: Musculature Barrier Diamagnetic KoV Pyronic Assault Should I be getting Melee Hybrid for resistance and regen? Switch from Musculature? Run something other than KoV Support Lore for the long buff? Thank you for the insights!!

  6. Hello all. I have the typical lineup of builds suggested for handmade runs but I've been looking at a beam/time blaster I've had sitting around. Anyone have a build or a route to making this toon for * runs?
  7. Awesome, thank you! Will be giving this a go tomorrow. I don't really have a preferred playstyle and tend to stay in melee more than not to get beta decay and rad cloud goodies. I like alot of what you did, I'll let you know how it turns out and any adjustments I may make! Thanks again!!
  8. My main is a psy/atom blaster. I am really hoping they tune psychic primary as it just doesn't perform in PvE as well as most other sets. It has very little aoe and rather long animation times, as well as slow traveling powers that noticeably take forever to reach targets. I love the toon though and can do anything any other blaster can if not as efficiently. If you look a few threads above there are two builds posted. My original build that has capped Def. And a requested build that shafts Def a bit for more overall damage. The toon really is fun, but don't expect an ice/fire level of destruction.
  9. Hello all! White Blanket, my Psy/atom blaster, is not even close to my most powerful character, and given the state of Psy primary, he most likely never will be. However, this toon is my baby, my pride and enjoy, and I want him to perform as best as possible. Following, I will post my build. I have done the best I can. I would love if someone, anyone, would like to reveiw this build and critique it, as I am trying to squeeze out as much damage as possible while keeping the skeleton: I would like to keep fly. Outside of that, you can change anything else to get me to where I would like to be: I am willing to sacrifice ranged-s/l defense soft-cap AND sacrifice perm-hasten to get as much damage as I can out of Psyhic Blast and Atomic Manipulation. I run Tier 4 on every incarnate, including Musculature, Barrier, Assault, and Reactive (as well as Rikti support Lore for the AM buff). I don't want to sacrifice TOO much surivivability but I also permanently run the P2W buffs on Offense, Defense, and Support. I would really like to squeeze as much damage from this build as possible.   10. May be late to the party but I have two questions. One: is this the most current and up to date Human Form Warshade build for 2022? Two: If I were to sacrifice a bit in other areas, could I squeeze in more procs for damage? If you were to do that, how would you incorporate more damage-centric slotting snd what would you possibly sacrifice to do so?

  12. How are your defenses? Your recharge? I like alot of what you've done. I've been following the builds here for a TA/A proc build myself. I'd really like to take hover/fly and cap ranged defenses, building as much global recharge as possible, and pour on the procs everywhere else. It's hard deciding exactly how many attacks j need though.
  13. So I just finished unlocking incarnates on my Ta/A defender and I am absolutely loving him. I'm going to build him following your proc guidelines. Two questions for you: 1) is the latest build you posted for TA/A your best or most current build for the toon? 2) If i wanted to take hover/fly over superspeed and cap ranged defenses, how would you suggest I go about making these changes while keeping mostly the same everywhere else?
  14. Thanks for the reply. I did drop a slot from Hasten. I didn't take bill Lightning because Spring Attack is that "other" AoE although I am very tenuous about this decision still. With that build, are you at perma-hasten? I've reviewed that build alot and wonder if it would be changed in the modern meta.
  15. Hello all! So I just unlocked all incarnates on my Elec/Shield stalker and I'm loving the toon. I've been following Kruunch and Coax's thread with their builds, and im probably going to run a mostly similar build to the one Kruunch runs with Zapp and Spring Attack. Just as a general question, is this build the most optimized version I can run? I would like to eek out as much damage as i can and im looking for someone to fine tune this build and optimize it as much as possible. I would love to find a way to perma Hasten and up the damage if possible, even if I have to sacrifice some survivability to do so. Thank you all for taking the time.   16. I agree with this alot. I eventually nailed an Ill/Time custom build on my troller, but had rolled it a few different ways first and post-50 just kept feeling like I wasn't doing what I wanted to do with it. After settling on Ill/Time and getting into IOs it all just kind of fell together and Myth Master is one of my favorite toons now.

  18. I build and have built alot of my own builds and have toons that have soloed ITFs with custom builds. Forums are for the sharing of information. Just because I ask for a build doesn't mean I'm going to specifically follow that advice blind. I'm just looking for ideas and have stated previously that out of most of my toons I don't play scrappers (also referring I built built claws/Sr myself.) I'm not sure why people assume because someone asks for advice or help they don't have the capacity to serve themselves....
  19. Thanks for the info but I already know all of this. I don't care much for taking sets just because they are "more powerul", and like I said, I have well over 20 level 50s and already have most of the generic "good stuff" builds. I'm well aware of the combos potential and also its flaws, however this is the toon, and that's not changing. It's not like I'm limited to a certain amount of characters and therefore can only make a few that everyone else also makes, I enjoy a massive variety of toons and for this guy, well, this is him.

  21. Bump before bed. I am really loving this toon, just really need an end game build to work towards. Mostly I want to wreck ST DPS, I group and Solo TFs and incarnate level content often if that helps for a point of reference as to my goals with this toon.
  22. Hello friends, I've recently created Neofire, a 3x Fire scrapper toon and I am just about to unlock incarnates. I main blasters mostly, and across all toons have over 20 level 50s, many completely slotted. I have never built an end game scrapper outside of my claws/Sr and would love to see what people can come up with for this tripple Fire build. Influence is not a problem, and I would enjoy the build being as maxed as possible for the purpose of single target DPS in TF/Solo/GM/AV game play. Let me see what you have!   23. Alright gang. I have this energy/energy blaster that's been collecting dust and just to have some good ol' fun I've decided to try a full melee build. I've been having alot of fun so far but I'd like to see what people here might be able to come up with as far as slotting goes. Remember, this is just to have fun. Influence is limitless and given the concept I want to keep him as is and slot him to maximize effectiveness. So here's what you have to play with: I have taken: Power Blast Power Burst Sniper Blast Aim Nova That is it in the primary. Power Thrust Energy Punch Build Up Bone Smasher Energize Total Focus That is it in the secondary. I use hover and fly although these can be changed. Really just a thematic choice. Boxing and Kick have been chosen but aren't utilized in the rotation as they see there to buff Cross Punch. I also have tough and weave. Combat Jumping Hasten And finally i have taken Bile Spray, only to unlock the next tiers of Leviathan Mastery got Knockoit Blow and Shark Skin. My rotation, hopefully after recharge considerations should be: BU/Aim and Hasten into Bonesmasher---Crosspunch---Total Focus---Knockout Blow. Rinse, wash repeat. Mix in the Snipe since it's quality DPA and Nova/Void Core as an opener (so a kb-kd IO will be needed). I understand this is a ridiculous build and will never be truly great but I really want to make this blaster a Melee only take (the two ranged attacks can be slotted with the +recharge proc simply to get Knocout Blow/Total Focus back) I assume my goals would look something like: As much recharge as possible while capping melee defense and eeking out as much damage as possible. Have fun with it and let's see what you have!
  24. This. This game is so fluid that the idea I have to maximize damage as a blaster is silly. I do damage. The same for every AT. You can pretty much play every toon in most every what you want. I like a sturdy blaster. I like the damage I can do with a blaster and it's playable. I don't need to wipe a group with one alpha. I have a fire/fire for that. This blaster plays differently and I like that.
  25. As for the CJ debate. I very rarely take the leadership pool as the nrg costs are higher, even if the benefit is too. I like the 5 LotG slotd, and CJ is just so low cost. I find myself in melee ALOT to get the beta decay and pbaoe goodness going, so it just works for me even if the majority of the time I do fight at range. The last power is free reign, I bounce around with the Teir 1 blast and the secondary hold etc... to try out different sets with my builds, so I usually end up forgetting to pick something when I post.
