  2. So I got my Bots/Traps to 40 and used Null the Gull to switch over to villain side to work on getting patron powers. I'm in the process of working on Ghost Widow's arc. I plan to switch back to hero-side once I unlock the powers. Does anyone know if you can keep picking powers after switching back? For instance, after grabbing dark embrace at 41, can I switch back to hero-side and still have access to oppressive gloom at 47 and soul storm at 49 even if I'm back to being a hero? What happens if I choose to do a respec back on hero-side, will it turn off soul mastery? Just don't want to go through the work of doing the Ghost Widow arc just to lose access to the powers when I go back to hero-side. Thanks! Update: Found my own answer on the wiki. As long as I play through the arc and unlock the pool, it still works regardless of alignment.
  3. @plainguy, I added your build to Pine's for the lvl 30 build, and it only shows a total of 30.5 Def. I'm trying to figure out where the missing 7% is. You mention Kismet in your post, but it's not listed as slotted anywhere. Also, do you have an update on your build so far? Curious where you went after lvl 30. Thanks so much for your help with this. Bots/Traps is my favorite build now. I've been able to tankermind like never before. It's so dang neat!
  4. I really love bots/traps. It's always been my favorite. I was looking at Plainguy's example from the first post, but I was curious how someone would modify it for a heroside build. Also, Plainguy, I saw you are using just IOs now from your last post. Did you change your power choice or slotting before 50 or did you just go with the build as is and take the powers at the level listed? Just curious how you handled early game play. Have you considered what you plan to do for incarnates, ATOs, or other newer stuff? Thanks!
  5. I built a Beam Rifle/Bio and I love him. Watch for Steambrain on Indomitable. I'm now working on slotting him out with Sets. I'm stealing from other Bio builds people have posted. It's fun!
  6. My Beam Rifle/Bio Toon just hit 31 and I'm still having a blast with him. He's been my favorite non-mm build yet since restarting the game. My only issue is not taking every power. They all work well in primary and secondary that I don't know if any of them should be skipped.
  7. I'm considering Elec/Rad or Fire/Rad. The /Rad set seems like a perfect mate to both for building up attacks and staying upright.
  8. Hey Gang, I was looking at trying a Sentinel for the first time, and Fire/Rad is really speaking to me. It looks like they would be a really fun combination worth pursuing. My only issue is when messing with Pine's it almost seams like I'd want to take all of the powers from both sets. Do you all have build recommendations? Are there any powers that are skippable? I'm planning to take Hover/Fly at some point and just need to decide when best to add them in. Also what would be a recommended Epic Pool? I don't really like most of the options I'm seeing. Thanks!
