Just during the most recent winter event, I got the name Wintergirl on Everlasting.

A bunch of image links are broken since page 270, regardless of browser. I can't see anything Player2 has been posting, which sucks because his costumes are always great. Can people maybe use something other than imgur?

I think it's well past time that the instant-death crashes on tier 9 Defense set powers (Unstoppable and Power Surge being standouts) be rebalanced and have their severity reduced. Especially for something like Power Surge, which gives you such a middling boost to survivability that it remains fairly easy for enemies to kill you through it anyway. Now that IOs are a thing, there's literally no reason to take these powers given that they're pretty much a guaranteed dirt nap one way or another. Re-jigger these tier 9s and make it so they don't render you two-thirds dead with no End when they crash, so that people actually have some incentive to take them in their builds.

I think it must be the giant skulls and tiny head, but Slashdot looks like he should be about 3 inches tall. Very action-figure aesthetic.

So many great costumes recently that I would just be quoting practically the entire last page if I did them individually, but Huntdown and Man-Grove (GENIUS naming there) are particular standouts, as well as Suggestive's kitbashed domino mask. Even after all these years, inventive players find ways to create costume options I've never seen before.

That's just excellent. Samurai pieces are difficult to use effectively. But paired up with the Warrior parts and that super high contrast color scheme, it really works.

Sometimes it's nice to be able to pretend you're popping into Paragon City as a Villain without having to actually having Null the Gull switch your alignment and losing your Alignment Power. And if you want to hold some kind of RP beach party that's cross-character, it served as a good spot for that too without having to rely on someone to create an SG base that looks like a beach. Now that the luau is part of Talos Island proper, that isn't possible any longer. Please put the Luau back as an option for Null to send you to.

Pretty simple, it is what it says. Emote text is no longer displaying as italic in the chat windows, even though it's still italic and thoughtbubbled in the in-game display over the character's head. This makes the chat log even more difficult to read in the chat windows, especially in high traffic areas. I'm assuming it has something to do with the new chat and emote range commands.

He's also got some kind of eye glow aura at a very dim color. Looks like fairy dust or a similar one.

3D printed Mastermind Demonling? That's amazing! Did you sculpt the 3d model yourself? Which software did you use?

So I've never actually taken a Controller to 50 before in all the years I've played this game, and I was in the beta test. As a primarily solo player I just couldn't stand the slow, pitiful damage output for what seemed an exorbitant End cost. Things are a lot different for trolleys now, though, and I'm enjoying gameplay with my Poison Ivy knockoff Plant/Poison Chokecherry, especially now that I have Flytrap and Carrion Creepers. However I'm low-40s and, looking at set IOs, I realize I have no idea how to slot her for the best effects. Help? For pool powers, my travel set is Concealment. Of course I have Hasten, I want to get Carrion Creepers perma'd or even stacked if possible. My Ancillary is Psionic Mastery, for Indomitable Will and World of Confusion. I don't care about any of the other powers in that pool but if any of them would be a must have, throw it in there. For the rest of the pool powers, if any, feel free to go nuts. I have no idea what I'm doing so you can't mess up her character concept. Thanks ahead of time for any help!

That's a REALLY cool look. The coloring makes me want to create a similar character and name him The Rust Mage.

Last night there was a huge Halloween costume contest held in The Witch's House, the haunted house base that's been heavily advertised this season on Everlasting (it's amazing, check it out if you haven't). There were dozens of entrants and, I think, two separate live Twitch streams? Anyway, there were four categories of costume, Mystical, Beautiful, Monstrous and Horrifying. Each category had first, second, and third place winners, with a thirteenth overall grand prize winner declared out of one category (which caused the other entrants in that category to all move up one place). My entry came away with the grand prize, which blew me away given all the creativity on display last night. One of the streamers even read the bio live as the award was being handed over. It's seriously one of the coolest things ever to happen to me in the City of Heroes. So, I figured it would be appropriate to make my first costume post in this thread the grand-prize winner of the Witch's House 2021 costume contest. Ladies and gentlemen, I present... The Shambler.
