  1. I had the same issue initially. Point the path to "D : \Homecoming\COH" (I assume that folder directly contains the actual game files) rather than point to the location of the Island Rum folder itself.
  2. Got it working. After changing the installation path to my actual game folder the game starts normally again. Open Island Rum, click on the top left button that shows you a list of settings/options and select OPTIONS. Here it will show what you Install Path is pointing to. This will be the wrong path.... Click on it and browse to the correct folder holding CoH and click on the save icon at the very bottom right. That's all
  3. Update: It seems that Island Rum 'changed' the install path to something on the C drive. Not where I keep my games. I noticed it when I did a rescan of the game and instead started a full download. So it looks like Island rum is trying to start CoH in a folder where it doesn't exist. That explains why I don't see any sign of life of CoH after clicking the play button. My next hurdle is trying to change the install path to my actual folder with all the data. While I can browse to the location I can't click on any ok button to confirm the location. What am I missing here?
  4. Same for me. Yesterday all was fine and today none of the options work anymore. Island Rum is behaving as normal but in Windows Task Manager I don't even see any of the CoH executables pop up at all. My last Windows 10 update was on 14-Jan though so I can't really blame it on that one as all worked normally after the updates. I checked my antivirus as well and it is still happily ignoring CoH
  5. I can't test/prove it for Domi/Troller pets but you can test the following with MM pets: - Go to P2W vendor and get the prestige enhancement that has a chance for knockdown. - Slot it in a MM pet (as long as you are under lvl 20 as afterward the special chance will no longer trigger) For my new MM toons I always slot that knockdown enhancement in my first minion pets. I see them knockdown the mobs plenty of times :)
  6. Questing: - More lvl 50 tips/SF/TF/Trials with Incarnate powers DISABLED (to me incarnate powers broke the powerlevels too much for me. Even +4 mobs die too fast). - New zones blue and res side (I know a lot of people 'hate' the gloomy graphics on red side so perhaps at some 'happier' zones on red side as well ^^) - Also try to get people more to Red/Pretoria sides by introducing missions in those zone that 'feel blue enough' for the hero players. Heroics should also happen in 'evil zones' and vice versa. And make these missions worth it for making people change alignment for a bit (or create some kind of temporary 'undercover' alignment 😉 ) Market changes: - For the Market some kind of mechanism that sets a maximum price for items to avoid prices going up to 2B Inf again for a single item like it was on live. - Ensure that the Market always has all items re-stocked to ensure that nobody can buy up all items and then try to monetize it. Costumes: - More costume options....'nuff said Powers: - Ensure that all powers can be equally accessed (e.g. don't prevent a melee AT from accessing a certain Melee attack power) All primary/secondary powersets should be available for each AT - New powers...of course ^^ - New power pools - For existing powers it would be nice to be able to customize them further (and make sure that all powers that currently are not customizable yet also get those options) like for example sound effects. There are plenty of discussions from people where they state that they do not want to take a power (or even team up with someone who uses that power) purely due to the sound (example would be the peacebringer sounds or the weird sounds that staff fighting makes). Sound: - New background sounds? Or the option to add your own MP3 to a zone/map/quest? - As mentioned above, more sound options for powers in case you don't 'appreciate' certain power sounds and I'll stop here before my wish lists grows to pages of text 🙂
  7. Not sure if the following was already suggested as an option ( the thread has grown large very quickly): Do I find the current crash annoying? Yes, I like many others will fire off attacks without noticing that I won't be doing any damage to speak of. Does the crash need to go? No. But it should not be made worse. In the parts of this thread that I did read through there were many discussions about getting rid of the crash vs making the crash worse or nerfing/changing the damage in some way or another. I basically like the Rage power as it is but I can understand that perhaps a compromise needs to be somewhere as there are too many different opinions. So perhaps another possible change suggestion: How about giving rage a 'chance' to crash. For example: 1 stack of rage active: No crash when it expires 2 stacks of rage active: 75% chance of crash (the current crash values?) 3 stacks of rage active: 100% guaranteed crash with a even tougher crash value More damage should come at a price and this variation would be one that I can accept. Values can be changed of course but you get the idea. AP
  8. I always use the one in RWZ. Easily accessible for both sides.
