  1. Generally, you want to slot pets with six slots before everything else, skip most personal attacks, take as much as secondary/pool powers you can. And you wont need medicine pool on either time or dark. Demons are resist based so you may want to push them to cap. For dark, Hasten may be skippable, but with time, you want to perma it AND chronoshift on top of it. Also, for going time, bots/thugs are more of a popular choice. If you choose to go bots, repair is skippable. Regardless of you go dark or time, you will have plenty of buffs and debuffs flying around. Traps is a really good choice if you desire a more active playstyle. Edit: Time and Dark both are regarded as top tier sets. Dark offers more situational utility in my eyes, while Time is more of a jack of all trades, offers a little bit of everything. Playstyle: Get binds, get used to bodyguard mode, dont put your pets into AoEs, liberally use goto commands on them, prioritize enemies and then buff pets to oblivion while watching their carnage unfolds. Or be like some of us and grab provoke, dive straight into the fray.
  2. No, it does not obviously get to %150 resists. Bodyguard Mode acts as FLAT DAMAGE REDUCTION. Means, your resists works ON TOP of it. That brings my s/l damage reduction to effectively %93.8
  3. I decided to make a bots/time build, because why not? And it ended up very satisfactory. Pros: Softcapped positional defenses Perma Hasten+Chronoshift Hardcapped s/l resists (yes, I know, bodyguard mode exists, but why stop there and not push it even further and go beyond tank resists?) Provoke Has superspeed so you wont be "that guy" Tactics is a flex-slot if anything, if you can make room that is. It doesnt make you get bothered with timing powerboost with farsight, well, not even need to complete a villain pool arc. Cons: No superjump to accompany superspeed, sorry. May turn out to be rather expensive, I bet it wont be more expensive than a purpled-out warshade still.   8. So, I was searching for a willpower tanker myself. However could not find any that ticked the boxes for me. So I made my own. Hereby I present you the Willpower/Darkmelee/Energy Mastery tank. Do you want to laugh at enemies while having crazy amounts of regen and make regen tanks envy you? (you can reach %1000+ regen and thats pre-incarnate, with incarnates you can go even higher) Do you want to have very high defenses? (%42+ to all typed, melee is softcapped, psi is %39.6) Do you want to have hardcapped S/L and good enough psionics resists on top of that? Do you want to have 3000+ HP and have great heals on top of your absurd regen? (HP is with accolades) Do you want to have loads of status protection? Do you also want to have absolutely no endurance problems? (Trust me, its just overkill on recovery and you have dark consumption on top of it) If this ticks all the boxes for you, then this build is for you. you are a melee AT so you want to be at melee anyways.
  9. I did the Mender Arc at +2x6 with my IOed Warshade, got faceplanted a few times and had to call backup to clear the massive amounts of mobs at Honoree part, the EB wasnt the problem really, but the extensive amounts of mobs and mezzes were. I am looking SO FORWARD to perma-Clarion.
  10. Even I, a new player that did not play until 2 weeks ago can know how an attack chain get ruined with recharge nerfs and how awkward it can get with the range nerf. It does not require oh-so-extensive testing to see. While I did not try a high level blaster around yet, I can already see you just managed to get it back together. I like the idea of always-fast-snipes with a slow alpha strike opener. But yeah, range reduction was unneeded. Glad it got to where it was once more. Device changes makes it interesting and gives it a new mechanic, makes it more damage oriented, I am interested to try it.
  11. Stygian Circle is the answer to all of your problems. Oh and double mired unchain essence combined with squid AoEs. Burst the weakest guy down, drain it if you lack HP, explode corpse after double mire, then go ham as squid. Should take care of it. And do not EVER neglect Dwarf Drain. PS: I am not an expert or a returning veteran. Just happen to start 2 weeks ago by pure chance and made a warshade immediately after my VEAT and stuck to the WS. Its lvl31 right now.
