I remember crowding at times before, haven’t had too much trouble with Miss Liberty myself, though I have noticed it be pretty busy at times. Courtesy definitely should be a thought though. Especially for those of us who returned from playing the game that long ago. (Not saying ya’ll are old but I certainly have added some lines)

You do need to be invited OR know the name, assuming they’re not private only. I know we have a few on Excelsior, some of which I’m even part of. In our case, on Excelsior at least, people have posted at least some of them in our Shard-relevant forum here.

Hear hear! There’re so many mission arcs I never fully experienced and I was sad when I realized I had to go looking for the Hollows because none of my starting contacts across 4-5 characters referred me to the officer there. Still kicking myself for outleveling my main past the Hollows entirely doing other stuff. I’m very carefully running a reimagined old alt through the Hollows just to see it all again, only this time with Ninja Run haha.

If I can get up there level-wise by then I’d love to revisit Quarterfield’s shenanigans. I’d definitely be on my scrapper.

Nice one, I never managed to pull off anything that crazy haha.

Hovering everywhere on my Claws/SR scrapper I originally made on Guardian, very first toon. Tights with a mask and hood everything was Spider-Man Blue&Red, but yeah I got Hover unlocked and didn’t turn it off for an hour. I made 2-3 random alts in every server but eventually Liberty mostly became my home. Don’t even remember that first toon’s name, but I remember floating around like The Dwead Piwate, claws out, taking potshot swings at Hellions below me.

It leaves an ache in my heart knowing the great one is gone, but it is soothed a bit by the knowledge that in memoriam here his avatar stands, ever vigilant to watch Positron's back while he waits for that phone call. Thanks to the wonderful developers of this game and the amazing community that has breathed new life into it again!

I initially made a couple toons on Halcyon before finding out a number of familiar Liberty folks are on Excelsior, and I’m not too crazy about completely bypassing content, but I intend to chug along at my own pace for a little while. Not to mention that as much as I adore this game and community being restored to some degree, Life happens and so I, personally at least, can’t devote the 20-30~ hours a week I could a decade ago, much as often wish I could lol. I did notice the global channels I’d seen mentioned were quiet then saw someone in the discord mention that it was an issue being looked into. Just another Liberty player’s situation as food* for thought mate. I hate this new age of forced autocorrect too, bleh.

Sounds reasonable to me. I am sure even as an old school lurker who forgot to post on the original forums a lot that CoH to some extent felt like a part of home returned to me, for many it is just as much if not more so! Only fair it gets shared with yours as much as it can be.

I used to run Marathons for Liberty server of the original TF Commander Badge Set and back then you could go in order up until the I think it was 43-44 range. But that was back in the days of Sister Psyche. I know things got a little touch and go around the Manticore TF, you don’t have to clear missions to keep up but I recommend by the old style not stealthing missions aside from how Positron used to be set up. Have to see what’s changed since I last lead one of those runs, but I’d absolutely love to try again when I have the opportunity.

@Nefandus here formerly, @MacguyverBond in Homecoming now. I drifted over to CO for a couple years then a lot of life happened but Liberty will always feel like a familiar place. Honestly I alted a lot but my mains were Nefandus the defiantly Kat/DA (through the bad times and the good) scrapper, Cool Cat Max the ridiculous Kin/Elec Defender, and Redside Charles “Lucky” Luciano of the Luciano Crime Family RP villain group, an AR/akin Corruptor iirc. I’ve spotted some names that ring a bell in the discord and it warms my heart. Look forward to connecting with ya’ll once I get back from my trip!

Halcyon is the new name for the new age and resonates to the new days of peace and prosperity brought to us by these magnificent people returning us our old nostalgic game playground. That’s my 2 bits. Peace and Love, to new and returning CoH (or V) players!
