  1. Since I'm not at all used to the Winter-Os, I think we agree but might be misunderstanding each other. You've got Avalanche's Chance for Knockdown in Icicles. I get his 100%. Keep enemies close by knocking them down. But Shockwave on it's own has a decent knockback which is counter to all the PBAoE in the set, using a KB to KD in Shockwave helps keeps those guys close.
  2. I keep reading what I wrote. And then what you wrote. And back to what I wrote, and then what someone else wrote and then what you wrote a second time. And they all say the same thing. I'm not sure what you are arguing but for the sake of not shitting over someone else's thread any more than already has happened, lets say you are right about whatever it is. This is a really neat build. I like all the Winter sets sticking with the ice theme. Lots of hold/immobilize procs. Fanastic survivability with the capped resistance and super defense. I have a couple of questions/suggestions: You've got Chance for +Recharge in Kick but I'm guessing Kick isn't in your attack rotation? I'd really, really recommend a Knockback to Knockdown in Shockwave. It's a great AoE and single-target damage but that knockback is annoying for you and extra annoying for the team. Yes, you would lose your six piece defense bonus but I think it's a worthwhile tradeoff. I tried Armageddon in Eviscerate but I really didn't like how long the animation was compared to the rest of my attacks, even with the extra chance to crit. I ended up moving Armageddon into Spin because of the larger AoE and easier-to-position. It might work better for you with all the lockdown you've got and make it easier to position. Psionics are really going to hurt. I'd grab the Accolade power clicky that provides some protection there for when you need it. Looks really cool, I might steal some of it and build a second scrapper!
  3. I don't know anything about the Ice half, but I've played a lot of my Claws/Bio scrapper. You can skip either Swipe or Strike, but not both. The claws animations and cooldowns are so short that you want as little in your single target or AoE attack chains. At 50 you can probably respec and skip out on Eviscerate as well. It can do pretty decent damage but the animation time is just too long and it is a very small cone. I get better use out of Spin. I've also never selected or used Confront. For single target, I like Follow up -> Focus -> Slash - Shockwave For AoE I like Follow Up -> Spin -> Shockwave Shockwave is amazing with a KB to KD Enhancement in it. I use a single one from Overwhelming Force. For power pools I've got: Speed -> Super Speed Fighting -> Boxing, Tough, Weave Leaping -> Super Jump, Combat Jumping Leadership -> Maneuvers, Assault. I really like having Super Speed and Super Jump. It's a lot of fun and either is situationally useful when speed running TFs. I ended up with Leadership, even though the numbers for Scrappers are poor, just because I couldn't think of anything I wanted more. I also skipped an Epic/Patron Pool because none of the damage abilities were going to be as great as what I already had and would just lower my damage by adding them in.
  4. I ended up going with Super Jump and the first two toggles in Leadership. Super Speed and Super Jump are an insanely fun combo for me and while the Scrapper Leadership numbers are awful it does provide something for a team. @Ariamaki is right, the attack chain is so tight whether looking at melee ST, ranged or AoE that the Patron pools are just more stuff that wouldn't get slotted correctly or used. I posted the final build last night Been playing with it over the weekend and so far it is holding up really well.
  5. I haven't really found a place where I felt a lack of stealth was really hurting me. But I'd definitely put it in one of the Prestige Sprints/Rush/whatever just to have it as an option. Thanks for the idea.
  6. The only character I play is a Claws/Bio Scrapper on Indomitable. I recently respecced for a proper 50 build and wanted to share it here for ideas/critique. The focus was on survival first and then damage after that. I wanted Super Speed and Super Jump because I find that combo a ton of fun. I wanted to keep a strong focus on single target DPS while not having useless AoE DPS when clearing large groups running Strike Forces. So you end up with 30ish% Melee Defense, Fire/Cold/Energy/Negative in the low to mid 30%, and then S/L Resistance at 55%, Fire/Cold at 29% with Offensive Adaptation on. 7. I've got a Claws/Bio Scrapper I'm having a lot of fun with. Going about a respec and trying to figure out what to do with three more skill slots I've got available. During the respec I'm keeping Super Speed, Boxing, Tough, Weave, Combat Jumping. I'm losing Body Mastery stuff (was curious, never use it) and Super Jump. I've looked at the Leadership pool but considering how Toggle Heavy Bio is and the low amounts Scrapper get for those auras, I'm not sure it is worth it. I'm open to a Patron Pool (probably Soul Mastery?) but my attack chain is pretty tight and doesn't have a lot of room for more. Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm looking to have fun and be effective, not necessarily min/max.
  8. I have read it, thanks! I’ll admit to skipping a lot of EULAs because most are too long to consume and fully understand. The Homecoming one is mostly the opposite of that which I appreciate. Like it said in the first post if it is intentional then great. But the trick with clicking accept every time is that I bet most people won’t read the whole thing and even if they do, it’s still too long to be able to pick out any changes over time at a glance. Even minor changes to word order or a plural added or removed can significantly change meanings.
  9. Forgot to mention that this only started happening with the patch that added in the cooldown timers.
  10. If this is intentional, no problem, it is a super-minor annoyance. Every time I launch the game and enter my password, I have to Accept the user agreement again. If I log into a character and then "Quit to Login Screen" then it does not ask me to Accept the Agreement a second time. I've tried validating my files with Tequila to see if something sticking around is causing the problems but nothing changes. A skim through my application directory doesn't show anything out of the ordinary either but I'm not sure what to look for. Thanks for any help!
