uninstalling and reinstalling worked! I thought i had been at 4.0 for several months, hell i thought that was the reason i was able to get the game running in first place. After looking through eveything i had 4.0.2 and 4.0.8 also installed but was still using 1.6.2 so im guessing that was the issue. Not sure why that patch would have caused it though! thanks for your help.

Im running Mint 18.3 64bit. My install was mighty cluttered. First i tried (and failed) getting tequila to run through playonlinux. Then i used etoh-downloader to get all the files but trying to launch the game resulted in a CTD at log in screen. Finally i tried penguin on the rocks and everything worked just fine until the patch.

That got me past the no slash problem. Now im getting c:\gitlab-runner\builds\gwdc5h1s\0\homecoming\code\libs\utilitieslib\network\sock.c, 220: wine: Unhandled division by zero at address 0x973aa9 (thread 0009), error instead. debug info in spoiler.

the day job for logging out in your base or near the portals will give you a temp power to port to base, number of uses depends on time logged out there though.

I do have it on my WS and i have used it 1 time.. on accident. I would probably drop it next time i do a respec, but theres nothing else really pressing i need. Hell i even have stimulant, aid self and resuscitate due to not needing anything else as well.

My first main was a spines/sr scrapper. Had terrible endurance issues so i didnt take any toggles in /sr. I also had SS, SJ and teleport. Biggest might have been quitting the game after i10. Was quite pissed about crafting, especially when i had 2 accounts full of ho/sho'd out characters. Now that im playing again i realize how simple and painless the crafting is here after playing MMOs like Darkfall, POTBS, and GW.

Sure am seeing a lot of names i hadnt seen in many of years.
