I had honestly forgotten about the HC launcher, I was able to get it to install via a vpn after even borrowing a hotspot on a different network failed. Since the two ISP I have access to at home are cellar networks. I think they both had a something blocked on their end that won't let the install.exe access the internet to install the launcher. Launcher itself doesn't seem to have any issue with my default tethered connection once installed.

Trying to install the HC launcher so I can do the beta test of the Mastermind changes since Tequila can no longer access the beta. I'm getting a "The Launcher was unable to download the install configuration. Please check your internet connection." when I try to use the hcinstall.exe. Tried fiddling with my firewall and connection. Note I have to tether via cellphone to get internet that isn't stupidly limited where I live so I can't do shit about the ISP if they are blocking something on their end.

Another that can be slotted is the Overwhelming force: Damage/Chance for Knockdown/Knockback to Knockdown one. I used this along side Achilles' Heel and Touch of Lady Grey on my Merc/storm in soldiers. Gives the soldiers the ability to knock enemies down for some semi-migration.

Littering! They are such villainous litterbugs. Leaving all that spent brass everywhere for someone to slip and fall on.

A while back someone asked in the MM channel of the HC discord if Thug's Enforcers where the only ones that could slot the Gaussian Chance for Build-Up proc. Did a little testing at the time on the test server with the fix for Gaussian at the time. Well the T1 wolves can also slot it, but can't do anything with it until the upgrade at 32, which gives them a 15sec AoE +hit+dmg Howl. It will proc nearly everytime on the t1 wolf that uses the howl. Confirmed it carried over to live with the patch on my 33 beast/kin, not done anymore testing other then that it procs with the howl given with the second upgrade. So I don't know how useful it is on the t1 wolves compared to the Enforcers.

This pretty much, Devs were trying to fix a big AI issue during live. Ranged pets wanting to melee was a tolerable side effect of the fix of the issue. I think it was a issue with people getting the AI to 'break' and getting stuck in some fashion.

Poison trap does -regen in the traps set. So does one of the Assault Bot's attacks. Regeneration of health in any sort of noticeable amount is something you only really start running into in Elite Bosses and Up.

Try a different connection if you can. I have the issue with Atlas Park, Atlas Park Bank Robbery, Imperial City, and the Investigate Anderson Construction mission from Shauna Stockwell. When using my main internet connection, but if I borrow the hotspot(Not optimal at all) it load those zones. Keeps me from even attempting to do any team stuff. :(

That would be the issue. You can't zone until your client finishes loading and uncompressing the zone data. Even a small budget SSD is a vast improvement on that. If that's so, then maybe it's a time-out problem? Maybe there's a configuration file to adjust? I had some time-out errors before. There actually is, or use to be a timeout limit or retry attempts slash/launch commands, it was mainly for people on dial up back in the day. It's the one I've been trying to find via wayback machine on the old forums. The pre-2007/8 CoH forums would likely have it somewhere in the tech support section, but I keep running into the wayback machine not having those pages saved.

On my end Atlas and Imperial City are no go zones. Any character I try to zone or login there boots me back to login after the loading screen hangs about halfway. For me, it seems to be connection based. My main connection is a tethered cellphone, but when I got a chance to borrow the hotspot for a bit, it loaded those two zones without issue on that connection. It's really weird, but somewhat livable issue as so far I can get around the rest of the zones without issue.

This was something the Devs wanted to do during live, but suddenly!shutdown happened first
