  1. Thank you GM Crumpet for this: I did a quick google and I think you might be misremembering. The gender swap was at icon and facemaker https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Super_Booster_III:_Superscience This is exactly what I had bought & enjoyed in the old live days. Indeed, I had forgotten that the potion had to be drunk in Icon for the change to work. Thanks again for suppling the link to a feature I used often back then. My original question still stands though: Is there a chance that the Devs can or will bring this in-game feature back again? My thanks to all who've toiled long & hard to bring our beloved COH back to officialdom. I loved playing up to the end in 2012. Then when the "secret" was leaked about the underground server and Homecoming stepped forward, I happily jumped back into playing. I understand why the old characters & accounts had to be wiped but I hope that some of the old players who had created such wonderful stories in AE might recreate them again. Worlds within worlds... :)
  2. A few Questions though: 1)- Will some of the old features be reborn? Such as the drinking of a potion to change a characters gender whilst still keeping all of their design & gear? 2)- Will the remaining locks on costume pieces be lifted? Currently I still cannot put a trenchcoat/duster/matrix coat on a hero, only a villian. I was able to add it to a hero on the old servers. Thank you to those who replied to my queries. One asked why one would need number 1 (gender changer). Because it was fun. It was offered live as part of the "mad" science pack. It allowed one to change the gender anywhere in the game, in this case by drinking a potion as the change action, and the special effects did their thing and viola! you swapped genders on your character. The beauty of it was the COH program did all the work and replicated your character exactly as created, only in another gender form. No painstaking creating another character & having to subtly alter the name. No logging in & out from both characters. This feature did all the work and your character had the same name & costume. If you logged out in the alternate gender, you came back as the original one when you logged back in with that character. It was fun. As for number 2 (locked costume pieces) I'll have to try taking my character to Icon (tailor) and give it a try now. It didn't work years ago, but perhaps, as one reply stated, the Dev's might have fixed that. Thanks again. :)
  3. Indeed, this most welcome. And in some ways, very surprising news. Great job by all that toiled lo, these many years. Now it is truely a Homecoming. Pity that all of our original characters & wonderful Architect missions have been lost... But good to know that our current ones will continue to thrive. 3)- How will this affect other COH projects? Such as Ship Of Heros or the work being done by the TITAN network? I've playing this game for years, in any form that was available. Being officially sanctioned is validation of all of your hard work. I look forward to what the future brings to the best superhero game ever. Huzzah!
  4. Thanks Fifth Horseman. That is how you can move the camera, via the middle mouse button. I knew it was something simple. :)
  5. This is a minor issue but I've forgotten how to unlock the camera so that I can rotate the view to see the front of my character and those standing with me. I seem to recall it was something to do with one of the keys but I've had no success just randomly trying them. What am I missing? Thanks.
  6. I'm having issues getting the game to launch. It makes it to the splash screen then just drops back to the desktop. Any suggestions/fixes/help? OK, I figured it out. I was using a shortcut linked to the CoH icon that led nowhere. I fixed it by making the shortcut linked to the Tequila icon. Now game loads just fine. Though I think that a note included with the installation instructions mentioning making the shortcut linked to Tequila would save some time & effort. When I had downloaded & installed the game for the first time I closed the loader before I noticed that there was no icon on the desktop to launch the game again. Hence my original question. Thanks all.
