  2. Yes. Longer answer: you'd get a lot more mileage out of your-res powers, it's easier to softcap, and you can use those extra slots for more procs and damage.

    Repulsion bomb and force bolt scourge. I want every corruptor power that does damage to be able to Scourge. I don't care that sleet doesn't do much damage. I want consistency and I want the devs to stop making corruptors just a worse defender for the majority of power combinations. Making every power able to Scourge would go a small way to not having defenders be the default choice for so many power combinations. People say the nerfing sleet on corruptors instead of buffing defenders is just a bug fix, well then fully fix it and let me Scourge.

    Then they should have fully fixed the bugs and make all corruptor powers Scourge. Sleet should Scourge and have the right power level. Not just nerf the powerlevel and still not scourge.
  5. So for a duo you will get more mileage out of two different secondary. Having more than one kin is kinda overkill. A fire/kin and water/cold would be absolutely killer or just two water/cold for shield and -res stacking on each other. Two fire/kins will be pretty fun too, but in general having a /time /dark /cold paired with a kin makes the force multiplying corruptor archetype really shine.
  6. It's a suped up Maneuvers with resists if you want to think of that way. Always take it. Always run it. If someone complains, they are insane and you can find a new group.
  7. It is 681 absorb, 849 heal and 5 hp/s over 60s. So essentially its a 1,830 heal for a 2.27 cast time......yes its worth it.

  9. It gives you and the whole team almost 25% resistance to all. So, yes. It puts us at the damage cap most of the time. So, also, yes, it feels like decent to goodish damage. More so if you use your -res against a single target. Upthrust is 84 dmg against +3s at 50. I think the snipe is about 280? The snipe and stalagmte do more damage and it only gives one seismic power instead of two.

    Sure, no proc is 100%, but I did just login to test it and they both fired all 10 times I tested......soooooo we should be good.
  13. Edit: figured it out. What I mean is that you get 5 hp/s without any heal enhancement and 10 hp/s with heal enhancements and so I dont think its worth it.
  14. With 3 heal enhancements in Wild Growth its only worth about 5 hp/s. I don't feel that's significant enough when I am running +4x8 missions solo. The -18.75% tohit is really nice, but I hate the 3+ second cast time that I need cast before I fight every single mob. Especially when I am already softcapped and so it would only help me if they have -def powers. I'd rather cast meteor and upthrust in that same time period and kill things. This is an excellent point that I missed completely due to my version of mids not mentioning it. It told me it would heal me and I didn't think I needed that and I was already damage capping myself with soul drain. My bad for not reading the in-game description. Hmmmmmmm I can switch it out for vengeance, take a slot out of endurance, put the full gaussian's set in seismic force and put two +5 recharge in overgrowth......probably better and we get more recharge in overgrowth too. Thanks! This is a good idea, but I would rather have perma soul drain. So, I gotta leave it as it is. With Seismic Force, take the powers in whatever order you want:
  15. Ok, so I made a nature/seismic to make a tanky offender. This uses ff procs to get close to perma overgrowth and wild bastion uptime. We use the agility alpha because we really want the recharge to help overgrowth and help our team AND it lets us softcap our m/r defense without getting crazy with slotting+powers. Due to the inherent -cd of seismic we can cast meteor every 20-25 seconds, Endurance is mostly solved at exemplar 30+. Meteor will no longer knockback and piss our team off too. ST DMG chain is shatter-upthrust-tomstone-stalagmite, now most of the time this will trigger seismic shockwaves just before stalagmite but if you want to always be 100% sure, use shatter-upthrust-tombstone-shatter-stalagmite. This pairing really does work better on a defender over a corruptor because of the extra defense modifiers really free up slots for us to use and we get to the s/l res cap much easier and overgrowth is more powerful for our team. Oh, and we use clarion in normal content because we don't want to be mezzed. We take oppressive gloom in the hope that another defender or corruptor will have it on our team and we can stun everything around us, alone the power sucks. Entangling aura occasionally holds bosses with the proc, which is nice, but not really necessary. Controllers and dominators will appreciate you though and it does make it so minions don't ever really hurt us due to being held or stunned. ok, here is the build:

  17. I couldn't open your build in my mids and I cant update right now. So I made my own with extra slots for you to play with. Pay no attention to when I took powers, change whatever you want. Swap out distortion field for oppressive gloom if you want, but I always think of distortion field as overkill on a time toon and its pretty endurance intensive. Oh, and I went dark mastery because we are already softcapped and I'd rather have perma soul drain.

  19. Ok, I have been messing around with the seismic/kin compared to fire/kin and the elec/kin. Overall I really like the elec/kin the best for overall content. The -end drain and shock really adds up to make you more tanky when soloing missions at +4x8 (its still difficult and precarious though due to the tag changes and tohit buffs). Its way easier to just have them not attack you because they have no endurance lol. The shock damage adds up too, but its still a bit less than fire. The voltaic sentinel also really helps for soloing AVs and GMs. Then the endurance that you get back from some of the powers also helps you not need to use transference as much. So its just a great power combination for a tank mage. So, yeah the above elec/kin is what I recommend overall. Note: when testing seismic/kin I found myself hating meteor, its animation time is one thing, but then you need to wait for it to come down as well. This takes like 5 seconds and sometimes I would be stuck in the animation and waiting for the damage and die because of it. The -CD inherent of seismic is very very cool, but seismic is really endurance intensive and meteor bugs me....Gonna try to make it work on a nature/seismic offender instead. Note 2: You can switch out oppressive gloom for vengeance to get 7.5% more recharge, gloom sucks as a power alone.....but if there are two people on a team with it.....its amazingly fun and 3 people with it is just gravy. So, take it for the lols on a team....if all corruptors take it it'd be hilarious. Dominators and controllers will appreciate you too.
  20. In my testing I don't believe shock is allowed to scourge. I think it really should...but going through the combat logs I cannot find evidence that it does. @Bopper can you confirm?
  21. Go rad/time, you'll have farsight and time's juncture in order to severally lower your chance of being hit by a mez even when exemplaring. At 50 you can use clarion and be softcapped.
  22. If you can use rebirth destiny in the build, can we use clarion destiny instead for the mez protection? This would allow us to use a different more melee focused secondary.
  23. Just ranged defense. The damage enhancement isn't worth it.
