There's a lot to say about why I love our City, but I think most have already been said. I'd answer a modified question: Why do I still play? Or why did I come back? I came back for nostaglia since I from 2012 to 2019 kept searching for the same sense of home and not really finding it in any other game. When I got back to CoH it felt so familiar and welcoming. This time I brought my two boys with me. And since last weekend we all talked their mom into joining us! This is a woman that thinks Minecraft is difficult :). It was very cool to play the four of us at once around the same table. In the broader view of things I take this as a sign that this game has someting for everyone, and even if you take a break now and then you usually drift back to Paragon City or the Isles or even Praetoria for that matter. //Jack

Well, I'd take that for granted. Was kinda thinking that a wider AoE would be lowed in damage and maybe tohit, higher end cost, stiffer recharge. //Jack

Cool! That's what I thought, but thanks for the confirmation. These changes are just for the player right? Wouldn't think it be ok for some random player to change anything for the entire playerbase. Is there som old gallery with examples of what the comunity has done with this? //Jack

20. If you announce your TF to be a slow, defeat most, kind of affair, don't ask "Ok with you if we speed this?" after starting the TF just because the reqruitment took five minutes. //Jack

I'd say the guide is still valid. The inf-numbers quoted in the guide might be lower (or higher) now I can't say off the top of my head. But the ideas are still sound I guess. //Jack

Wouldn't this be possible with a macro? Switch to costume no. 2 and activate Fly when I hit the macro. Costume slot 2 being identical with slot one plus the wings... //Jack

Back on live I ran teams all the time and I was rather good at it, if I do say so myself. 🙂 The reason I don't now (barring teaming with my two sons) is that I lost contact with the game for such a long time. Now the TFs have changed, there are whole new parts of the game that I haven't played myself even once, most things are advertised as speed this and speedy that. I can tag along on something speedy but I rather not run the team then. //Jack

Usually I run a character to lvl 27 before they even get an enhancement. After that I figure out a build that will take me to lvl 50. After that it's on rails more or less. But with a multi computer, multi screen set-up I don't fear the respec. 🙂 //Jack

I'm with mr. Snark. A true City of Heroes Empathy defender isn't a healer. Not in the same way as has been popularized in other games. Back in the olden days of CoH, the dislike Shen is refering to was an influx of poorly built, healing aura-on-auto, I'll be popular since I'm a healer kind of players. The true empath in CoH was rocking RA and fortitude and was held in very high regard by most every team. My own newbie thing is proabably the fact that I made the misstake of ranking empathy over every other defender build. I'm cured of that now I think, since I have loads of defender but no one empath. Might be the next thing for me... //Jack
