  2. Not 100% sure what your goals are but would say getting that high defense cap other than making DA arcs easier when solo. Like if you were to crank the difficulty volume up. In which case trying to hit the stationary posts up by the Mother Ship maybe isn't so much of a priority. Plus they don't hit back enough. Here's this... not without it's drawbacks like how Shockwave's kb can get real annoying so it is intended to make solo more survivable... only. Hitting the 45% soft cap and building good resist (Edit* resist > regen for me any day of the week with SR) would be the best advice. Then you could hit harder and whatnot. Anyway here's this.   3. A few points to be taken with a grain of salt. Combat Jumping has the in "air control" that Shinobi-Ira lacks. Without CJ the nimble ninja becomes a clunky mid air nightmare. It wouldn't be terrible if Shinobi-Ira had the control but I'd personally have to keep CJ and accept the loss of movement. Whatever the reasoning may be ... Ninjitsu (Ninjutsu?) can't use Ninja Run??? Only set that hits up the p2w and loses. The Teleportation pool changes look great but it's a bit weird, for lack of a better word, to actually consider it on a movement enhanced set. If these changes do happen it's not a huge hurdle that Ninjutsu will have to take Mystic Flight to get over I guess. It's a small small hurdle that may prove advantageous to take a leisurely stroll around perhaps. A tiny tiny bump in the road a ninja will require SJ to get over. A dip in the road that may cause... lol jk jk. Vote No. Thanks for your time.
  4. Revised the Claw/SR build to mimic my newer solo builds that tested pretty well in AE 801.2 +4/8 w/Solo Bosses. Planned on just using the base buffs for leverage. Then added the p2w buffs and tried the same mission/same settings. Test run went 0 deaths 1 hour 10 mins at 77mph. Guess running/jumping around like an idiot can be viable at high level solo.   6. Here's the Katana/Sr where I did try for recharge and use Hasten. I scientifically, by pushing the hasten and waiting to see how long it's down, figure hasten is about 5 secs. off perma. Which is acceptable to me. I put a lot of stock into perma stuff which isn't as high priority for me now.   7. Thanks for the feedback both of you. I wasn't aware of the + Jump buff. Real glad you commented StrikerFox. A while ago a build caught my interest and I believe it was yours. A katana/sr named Siro as I recall. Anyway it really helped me with where I slot my procs especially when trying to get the io's to put together the build. I used to get a few of the wrong ones lol. Really helped with the visual. Also I did bite your style a little bit tbh so credit where credit is due. If I'm honest this is my intentional anti damage character I use to just kung foo large mobs solo at whatever level isn't tedious. I like the animations, usually tab through targets, and be totally inefficient. Not to be over sharey but I think someone may want to see , at least my attempt, to do the more damage focused whilst keeping the speed nice. Which I will use the jump buff fo sho now that I know about it. For me I'm pretty sure PC Mags gamer of the year 09' is out at this point and bear in mind never played during incarnate, never knew the game shut down, and my first toon was a Fire/kin troller to farm ahhh "hero bucks"... or the money stuff to pay for my melee dps characters. Forgot there name too. Quick Edit: I found out very recently that @Bopper quite literally wrote the book on movement speed. /embarrassed. Right here Movement Speed: Guide Some things to point out and will be of my opinion: - First I was very reluctant to share... see point above. - These are all builds 2 or 3 for me. I like the extreme stuff so normally do a 59% m/r/a defense type first to run around in the incarnate area and give no H E double hockey sticks. - I don't play a lot of alts pretty much all scrappers so did not consider cost. - Not a numbers guy. Mostly search for the set bonus' and move the pieces around to see how things look. I try to round out resistance and whatnot. - These should serve as examples only. Please do your own thing. - Procs, rotation, and things of this nature I'm still trying to work out what's best. - No travel skills was part of the deal when making these and tried my best to give options for single slot defense slots intentionally avoiding Elude^^. - Radio mission groups that are accepting all levels would be an example of groups I'd join. If tanks are doing the olde LoS pulls that is my preference. Difficult not to run ahead. - While these builds I'm not trying to win gamer of the year, but sort of, the rest for sure am. - Meant to be fun. The movement in this game is what brought me back to CoH. No other game can compare in this regard. - The customization for personal preference is my end game where in other games, not to be spoken of here, are much more linear.   8. Hi, Messed around with the Synape's Shock after the Mid's Reborn update (thanks!) for a concept I've wanted since seeing Ninja Run. Had a lot of fun playing so I made both my Katana & Claws/SR scrapper with very similar builds (real happy with these). Figured maybe someone looking to do the beast, speedster, or ninja type toon may get an idea so whatever whatever. -I'll just shoot a few movement number's. Run: 72.75/Jump 59 or so/ Jump Height 36 ft in combat. Meant & set up to be played with Sprint on at all times. -These are pre incarnate numbers.- -With Sprint + Ninja run you get capped Run Speed 92.5 (like super speed if you don't know everything like myself) and 78 Jump speed also capped for Speed.. not height ain't no Super Jump but it does hit 48 ft. For an example in combat you can very easily jump from the ground level to third floor over the rail with ease. No joke. Not a novelty. You can play video games with this for sure.   11. Wow. I hadn't thought of getting it again after it expires. Not sure if you can re-up but I'll let you know after like 87 hours of play? Seems to me like you are seeking the ultimate damage as priority. I'd look into leveraging the p2w amplifier buffs with your build. If you play on indom, represent, you would know who would give this advice (@Twist). That's if you don't mind spending 60 mill for 8 hours of play haha. With those buffs you could push heavy on recharge and probably take musculature. Then maybe... just maybe avoid 6 slotting the normal heavy hitters like sprint/rest/brawl/health/stamina and anything besides laser beam eyes in body mastery. Thanks again and to be clear I'm in no way a math based build optimizer type whatsoever. Just a big dummy that picks what might be fun as priority (all subjective) then try to build around that. Loosely based on the best defense is a good offense theory. Also the "if you ain't die'n you ain't try'n" thing. Lastly, cuz I'm blathering, if you haven't tried a snipe on a scrapper you are missing out. Straggler runs away and you know the rest. Take care.

  13. Blessing of Tielekku gets you ranged, aoe, and melee soft caps. Note +5's on io's. S/L resist capped. Perma hasten with the incarnates ( a couple FF procs and you are over perma). You could use the -res proc from Fury of the Gladiator in Shield Charge really. If you don't want to get the Blessing (+ 2.8 to all defense for like a hundred hours or whatnot): lose the LotG in Deflection for a normal Defense invention and put the LotG in Phalanx fighting. You lose the Kismet... whatever. Then just fully slot Mako's in Smite. Yeah I was just being cute there anyway. Then you can also interchange whatever you like with the Grant Cover. Like Shadow Meld or even Veng to use and fit the last LotG. Whatever floats your boat or finds your lost remote. Just my take. I run with pretty much these same stat number's without Shadow Maul in the build at the moment. Stupid fun. Zero end issues by t3 Ageless Total Core. One last thing I nearly forgot to mention... I currently have Superior Critical Strikes slotted in Soul Drain and the same cumulative +Recharge of 102.5%. This makes SD perma with hasten and ageless up. Ageless is about a second off permanent and can be made perma with FF procs. So there is that.
