  1. I have both the Sandman heal proc and the PS +end proc on Havoc Punch and both fire off regularly enough. The heal won't keep you alive under focus fire nor will the +End solve End woes but they do contribute to faster game play.
  2. This is what I read and this is borne out by experience. I didn't get it firing on these powers but do on the others. I did move the fast snipe IO as you were right it was not needed, ty
  3. It doesn't give you the BU when slotted on Pseudo-Pets such as LR and SC, the assumption is this is because the power affects the pet not you. It certainly fires for me when slotted in one of the other powers, plus it's global so it doesn't matter which one. I could go Ageless but I would lose the softcap ranged def, I might play around with the Alpha if there is no major survivability issues. He's not full Incarnate yet so +2 is my sweet spot, on test server he was handling +4/8 radio missions fine though. There was no To Hit debuff (which he doesn't have resistance for) on these however. I'll test the snipe without the IO and add a boosted DMG Apocalypse if not needed, tnx for the feedback.
  4. This is my current build, it has Mind Link perma and is heavily AoE orientated. If I find myself not using Ball Lightening much I might swap it out for a procced Dominate but I would lose the Recharge from the set. It is a heavily melee orientated build.
  5. This is my current Elec/Shield build: End is an issue so I have chosen Agilty as my Alpha, it also pushes Ranged Def above the soft cap when under attack with Hide running. When leveling use End Reduc IOs liberally, plus slot Performance Shifter + End early if you can. I also have one in Havoc Punch.
  6. Yes it was testing with even con, this toon is not planning to solo or for farming so ToHit boost will be plentiful from teaming, if I do have issues I will likely swap out the pet as mentioned. In fact I'm tempted to do this anyway...
  7. Hmm, I might be missing something but I don't see this? The lowest ACC on a power is Melt Armor at 115% I've ran this build on the test server and had no issues hitting anything. If I do have issues I would probably drop the pet and two slot Tactics.

  11. Thanks for the great feedback The auras are there, 3 in T2 and 2 are in Hell on Earth. Thaw is a mule for 2 of the resist uniques as I fully slotted the two shields and I wanted the 4 set bonuses from Un breakable Guard but maybe these slots are better spent elsewhere. I'll review. This is a lvl 50 build but yes I don't anticipate taking PotP until later in the build when leveling. I thought Tactics would help the T3's to hit given the level differences I was very unsure on Spirit Ward and have switched it with Experimental Injection to help with End recovery for one or two of the pets, I could swap this for another attack or anything else if this is of little impact. I see you have this also? Are Hamis better value than the set bonuses? Especially the recharge bonuses?

  13. Hi all, I'm looking for a Tanker to take to 50 which would be my first on Live or HC and after reviewing various forums I've settled on Rad/MA. I have a Rad Scrapper so know the set well and I've been encouraged by this thread. Below is my current suggested build and I'd appreciate any critique.     I was planning to take Musculature Alpha for more smash and so I'm willing to sacrifice a bit more survivability for this. Regarding the FF proc in Kick, I'm assuming I would need to work Kick into the rotation to proc the recharge? I've never totally understood the FF mechanic. The extra resist in Weave is a good call.

    TW/RAD

    As Seigmoraig says DS can work in your build if you want, in my build I would simply swap it for crushing blow but it would leave my chains lobsided for single attacks (2 ST to 4 AoE). With a sucessful DS this build would hit Melee Def cap. Regarding chains it depends on the situation, I usually open with AoE and cones and finish on ST attacks to finish the bosses. The attacks are slow, very slow so it takes some getting used to it. It improves as you get used to Momentum. Also take Hasten early (I took it at lvl 4) to speed up at least some attacks asap. You will also suck end so stock blues in the early levels. In attack powers I slotted 1 Acc, 3 Dmg and 2 End rdx. Three slot resists on your shields asap. I also learnt to let my team mates deal with the minions on a sliver of health. Your role is the alpha strikes. The dmg is glorious though. TW is probably one of if not the highest AoE AND ST damage sets in the game. This is an end build btw, Leveling builds will differ, I usually take the majority of secondary and primary powers to test drive them while lvling.     Not weird, I understand Rad and Bio are the two most complimentary for the set. Bio is more "clicky" but has the damage boost trade-off. While rad takes less active management. I was going to create a post requesting a build critique anyway so here goes my future build. This guy is level 40 currently so much of this is hypothetical. I've not found a TW/Rad build so I've based the below from */Rad and TW/* builds and my experience with builds in general. He's as close to the Melee Def and all Resist caps as I can get without sacrificing damage output. All comments welcome.
