I have to throw my hat in on this one, I would say Elec melee/FA. I have one at 50 (a brute) and between thunder strike with a +rech Io and Lightning Rod with a + rech IO it tears through fire farms and pretty much anything else with ease. Currently sitting at 52% def to fire/cold, other def at or above 45%. I cannot remember the last time I used an inspiration on him.... Another good combo would be TW/Wp or TW/Inv. Abuddy is having fantasric results with a STJ/WP scrapper.

I had a SG mate ask me to put a build together for his bio/stone tank. it is not cheap by any means and he has it slotted as I built it. I have it slotted into my fire cages on my Fire/Psi. It is interesting, it is not controllable and if you cast while not in or around mobs it does nothing for you. I found that if I cast while in the middle of a pack and it procs it does a decent amount of dmg it is worth giving a go, killed off 2 LTs while I was working on a boss. Pretty neat little flavor added .
