  1. If you're just looking to do damage, fire pretty much always wins. Illusion, though, is really strong and does good damage, but takes a little more work to get there.
  2. So, in my particular case, I don't have a 50. I just keep trying new things and haven't found something that I really am in love with yet. So many power sets, so many costume options. Anyway, I love to solo, and have in fact never even been in a party. I would love to find something that I can take to 50. When I hit the cap, I know that my main goal will be to see how many AV's I can solo. I like to challenge myself with doing more difficult content solo no matter what game I am playing, and I would love to be able to solo as much of the endgame content as I can. I know that not having a huge amount of inf limits me and I would like to keep a focus on killing big things, but would like to be able to do as much of the end game content solo as possible. So, given my circumstances, what build do you all think gives my the best chances to solo any and all endgame content on a budget.
  3. I can't review all the sets as I haven't played them all, but my favorite character is a TW/Rad, so I can comment on those. TW: Great set at the end game. The set hits like a truck, and just has a fun feel as you swing your giant sword/axe/hammer into things. The downside is that it feels too slow when momentum isn't up, so the leveling process honestly gets pretty painful. Still hits hard, even at low levels, just feels even slower that is already is. Maybe not top tier, but close, and it just feels awesome. So, probably A-tier in execution, but S-tier in bad-assery. Rad: Love this set. I honestly can't think of a bad thing to say. Great set, and surely top tier for a Brute. S-tier without question.
  4. Honestly, that is up to you. Most of the people here love the game or they wouldn't be here. A lot of us played when the original was out, so the memories carries a lot of it, but the game itself holds up really well. Other than the outdated graphics, which honestly are not that bad, the game has the absolute best character creator of any MMO ever. No game has ever come up with the powerset combinations or the costume options this game has, let alone both. So, even though whether of not the game lives up to the hype is up to you, you might as well give it a shot since it is so easy to get into.
  5. I find that I get bored quickly with most of the easy to solo AT's (Brute, Scrapper, etc.) and I really find the controller playstyle engaging. I like the /dark secondary and would like to stick with that if possible, but I am not totally sure on primary. I have been using Grav, but I don't want to invest a lot of time into that if it is not very good. As far as what content I want to do, I would rather have a character than can solo AV's rather than a farmer. Any help in deciding a primary would be greatly helpful. Thanks in advance.
