  1. My influence is spread over both my wife's and my accounts along with two bases worth of storage so adding it all up would be a slog.  I barely keep track of what I have liquid which is usually around 6-10 billion or so.

I applaud those who can keep track of such things.  I just don't have the need or drive to do so.  I pay for my builds as I level so I'm happy, unlike Live where I could barely keep my builds funded.  I am so glad that Homecoming took the effort to keep the market somewhat stable.  Good job to the Devs!

  2. I just did a build for a Seismic/Time Corruptor from zero.  I knew I wanted as much defense as possible, mainly ranged and AOE.  Secondary was going for a decent amount of recharge.  So this is sort of what I did.

    1. Pick Primary and Secondary powers that I wanted and that I thought were the best for the first 38 levels.

    2. Look at the Pool powers for what I wanted as well as what would help reach goal #1 and #2.

    3. Look at Epic/Patron powers for the same.

    4. Decided to take as many Defense powers as possible.  This satisfied both build goals by enabling LoTG +7.5% recharge as well as getting the defense from the powers themselves.   I did pick the fighting pool so I could dip into tough for the two +3% defense IOs.

    5. Start slotting.  I first slotted my attack powers after looking carefully at the IO bonuses I could get.

    6. Other powers were slotted based on what seemed like the best bang for the buck both in bonuses and trying not to break the bank just by slotting all purples if they didn't fit my two goals.

Here is the build so you can see how I managed my goals.

  3. So are you using Tequila or the official launcher?

You really have to help us out here with some specific information in order for us to be able to assist you.  I don't know about the others in here, but my crystal ball isn't working that great today.

It's when you have to use 100+ Converters on three Enhancements that sews the seed of doubt. 😂

If that didn't happen I would be suspicious.  Anyone who has ever studied randomness knows that for every time you Roll a D20 and get a 1 on the first try, it's just as likely that you will take thirty rolls to get a 1 again.  RNG gods can be cruel, but they are fair.

I understand this concept.   However, that's not the case....

I had a ton of common salvage (all random items and random quantities) posted for 100 inf each.  The bid history when I looked over the 2 days they were posted, showed people were buying at 200-500 inf.  Yes, people could have been posting for less, there is a display bug, I was in no rush so I let it stand another day.  But generally, when I post for 100 each they sell within moments or at least overnight.  Never has it taken 3 days to sell common salvage at that price.  So when they hadn't sold on that 3rd day, I took them down and reposted them at 100 each - they immediately sold.  So yeah, something is screwy with the queue system.

Most folks drop common salvage at 1 to 5 influence.  When I am farming I'll drop hundreds of pieces at 5 influence and it will take a day to sell sometimes.  Most people will buy at 100 to 500 influence just because.  It's sort of like shooting the barn 100 times and then painting the target where you hit the most.  We don't have enough insight into what posted prices are to make any assumptions about whether list prices are good or not, but if you are listing at 100, then I am not surprised to hear that it took quite a long time to sell.

With that said, as others have stated, there are quite a number of known and probably a few unknown bugs with the system.  It's possible you stumbled across one.  It is equally as possible that during the time you took the items off the AH that the lower listed items cleared and when you relisted, yours were the lowest and hence sold immediately.

  6. If it says you are earning Incarnate XP, then you don't have them all unlocked.

2 billion is the influence cap.  You cannot have more than that on a single character.  Send some in an email to another character.

50 Billion? For me it's 15 Billion. I realized a while ago that I am a satisfiser. That is to say, I'm usually not looking for the optimal solution, just a good enough one. I'm highly motivated to play the market and make money up until a point. I find repeatedly that at about 15 Billion my motivation wanes and I'd rather play the game. Then, when funds get a bit lower, I dive back in until funds are replenished.

Of course, if you find it interesting or just like trying to get to a trillion, more power to you! It's just not my cup of tea.

This is me.  I could be in the running for the trillionaires club if I were so inclined, but after about 10-15b or so I lose interest.  I keep a healthy safety net of funds and pre-crafted IOs, but I don't go out of my way to try to make it into the major leagues.

UPDATE: Guess I need some aqua net or something, the whole thing moved once the boots were printed and it went south from there. Boots looked good though! 😀 I’ll post once I have a print.

If you are using Cura or Prusa as the slicer, you can do a raft.  Otherwise a glue stick has given me the best results for sturdy prints when there is a small base.

The big and significant sources for vanguard merits are group content like the LGTF and especially, the MSR.  Just last night I got 1600+ vanguard merits from one MSR. All 47 other players in the league got similar amounts, I'm sure.

1200-1600 is ballpark for a MSR.  1600 on a league where the tanks are really working it.  1200 for basically sitting in the bowl with tanks dragging an occasional mob over.

  10. The only badge that springs immediately to mind is Efficiency Expert.  Villain side badge that awards from Pither's arc.  Supposedly you can get it by being on a team now, but I haven't tried it.

There are a couple of the arcs, mostly hero and villain, that require unlocking a prior contact so be aware if something isn't popping, you might be missing the required content.

Some of the 50 content you may need to run using the normal contacts.  Dark Astoria comes to mind for this.  I got a couple of the badges through Ouro and the rest I had to go out and unlock the contacts for,

The market is a dumpster fire at the moment.  Prices are all over the place.  Looks like one or more people are just dumping IO's to get rid of inventory.

Or maybe I'm just crazy which is a strong likely-hood.

Things have been slow so I've been slogging through fire farms as a time waster.  It's not the fastest influence generator, but when you have nothing else to do, at least it is somewhat profitable.

    It's all fine.
