  1. Prior to Covid; I was in a Pathfinder 1E group. We made it through most of the "Wrath of the Righteous" AP before the GM running had to cancel due to conflicting work schedules. I was up next running Iron Gods and made it to the end of book 2 before my Ipad that had all the pdfs on it was stolen. Afterwards we moved on to Starfinder but I find the system a bit lackluster. Thankfully 1 session a month was set aside for another game: Scion. That game I played a Zen Archer type character who is one of the most powerful combatants on the team.
  2. Currently playing Immortals: Fenyx Rising on Nintendo Switch and it has it hooks deeply in me. While I do like Breath of the Wild for it's scope; some aspects of the game (Looking at you puzzles that require 6-axis controls) that I get turned off shortly after getting off The Great Plateau. Not so with Fenyx though.
  3. Does anyone have a Dual Pistol / Energy build. Budget isn't really a concern
  4. One thing I have discovered in the time I was playing was the love of creative writing. Through writing; I can really bring my characters to life
  5. When I started playing CoH back in 04, I never knew this game would have made a large impact in my life. I have made quite a lot of friends. But when I was forced to leave the game in 09; I had at least a means to keep in touch. When the game was shuttered; it literally knocked me for a loop. Eventually I learned to move on; but thoughts of the characters I made and how much details I put into their backgrounds crept up from time to time; and the regret that I didn’t made a larger impact on the community as a whole. People reading have to understand that I suffer from chronic depression and a social anxiety disorder and City of Heroes was an outlet for me to be a part of something bigger than myself. Now with Homecoming; I now have a chance to alleviate that one regret and hopefully make a lot of friends beyond the SG my main (Simika) calls home. This post was written to get these thoughts of my chest and I appreciate those who read this.
  6. Taking a hiatus from the game but was on Virtue since I started playing. You may remember me as SPU (FF/Eng Defender) - My very first 50 Simika (Claws/Regen Scrapper) Xerixon (DB/WP Brute) First lvl 50 Villain
  7. One of the things I discovered about myself when playing this game was the love of writing. Weather is writing up a brief blurb on the profile or writing up a 1,000 word post for an RP post; is the love of creating my own content in written form that makes me love CoH.
  8. Global Defence Force probably would be a good fit as well
  9. One other piece of advice. Avoid farming teams altogether. And join PI radio teams as little as possible. Reason why I say this is that once you decided how you want to play your first character up to 50, you should explore the game’s lore as much as possible. Plus when you take your time; you will know the ins and outs of how your character works. My main character has been 50 for over a month and I’m still learning how the character works and how to improve her.

  11. Because of my character’s background, (which is about 12 years worth) she doesn’t normally approach anyone she doesn’t know. But she is approachable to those who have the courage to try
  12. Not back in the game yet...(saving funds for a refurbished PC) Mostly kept to the SG. But Virtue was my only home since day 1
  13. Just wanted to say thanks to the people running the Discord. Without that; I wouldn’t have been reunited with my old SG mates at “The Justice Guard”
