  1. Hello. Just made 50 on my earth/energy guy and am looking to IO him up. I am wanting perma-dom and if possible insta snipe while having 5*lotg recharge. Would this be possible, and if you build gurus out there could help me with a suggested build, I would be much obliged. Thabk you!
  2. Sine lost due to the migration, I am reposting this in hopes of whoever posted his/her build posts again... Anyone else if of course welcome to help me with my skill in enhancement-fu. ok. just hit 48. 🙂 Time to look at sets I guess. I wa wondering if you all in your less finite wisdom can help me set up my build (I have all my respecs ready). Some points: 1. I am considering dropping power boost. Havent really seen any huge effect from it, not with domination going most of the time. 2. I know the build isnt optimized atm. This is what Im trying to get advice on. 3. I have chosen to not pick any purple sets at all at this time, just to get an inkling of what im looking at. 4. when picking now, I chose to try and maximize my damage (with +damage (all)) from sets. Also, for convenience and because I couldnt find anything better, I went for making my superjump/combatjumping faster/higher. 5. Melt armor, has been helpful in teams vs AV's, atleat I like to think it is... convince me otherwize if you can. 🙂 6. Nothing is holy. Hit me!     Stone primary

    Hi. Just hit 32 on my stone/spines and got granite, of course. However... I'm at a loss as to how to slot it, and come to think of it, I've been winging it all the way. I was wondering if you experienced stone tankers can help me out with do's and dont's when it comes to the stone primary. Must have powers and suggested slotting. Which powers are less important, or redundant from here on out. Right now, as an example, I have both tough and weave, but red that tough might be redundant... A suggested build for level 50 would of course be nice. Thanks beforehand!
  11. GAH! Just spent 20 mill on enhancement converters... Pro tip: make sure you count the zeros before you bid. Enhancement converters ORDINARILY go for about 100k a pop).
  12. As a earth/x dom, I keep stone cages in my build. Reasons for this is: After the latest patch, immobilizes doesnt remove the KD effects. Stalag+ stone cages/quick sand =win. As they can't leave the area of effect. In short, if you have room, keep at least stone cages in. Short recycle on it and with having it 2-3 slotted it's reliable enough.
  13. Hi Just started a SR/dual blades tanker. So far, really enjoyable and feels powerful. Haven't seen ANY other SR tankers, and that males me kinda worried that I'm setting myself up to be disappointed later on. So far only IO'ed with lvl 20-25 IO's. Nothing in sets as I don't have that kind of inf. Help me Obi-Wan Tankers, you're my only hope. Convince me to stick with it, please.

  15. Oh yeah, another thing about energy as a secondary is that the knockback/down synergies well with earths as well.
  16. Hi guys. I know there are a lot of you out there who are a lot better than I at build-fu. I had an idea of synergy between fires aoe focus and ices ice patch. Am I barking up the wrong tree? So far my guy is level 10. Thank God for dfb. Anyways, I saw that there have been no requests for or any info about this combo here on the forums. Would any one of you please help me prove the viability of this combo? Or is this a dud combo?
  17. Hi there! I am leveling up the same combo now. When Coh was live back in the day I played a earth/emp troller. The only thing I lacked back then was damage and the Dominator with the energy secondary gives you just that. To talk a bit about the earth primary... It has a excellent combination of soft and hard control. By soft control I am talking about Quicksand, Stalagmites and Earthquake. By hard control I mean the holds etc. See the combos I use below. That being said, fossilize is awesome, and is your goto control whenever it is up. There are many ways to play earth but the way I do it is to use combos of abilities to disable groups quickly. Combo 1: stalagmites and ae root. Combo 2: Quicksand and earthquake. Combo 3: volcanic gasses and ae root. Combo 4: (to hold bosses quickly) volcanic gasses and fossilize. I see the pet as a speed bump. Nice damage but kinda slow on attacks. About the energy secondary... Not much to say other than that the focus on single target damage synergizes really well with earth's ae controls. Blast away!
