  1. Mastermind are rough if you are not using the keypad to control the pets. Also you are not mentioning what your build is.. What primary and secondary are.. ETC. Elaborate a bit more. What Primary and Secondary are you looking at. Again enough builds on the forums to help you out. 8/3 is my max setting as well for speed and comfort. 8/4 just seems to slow down a bit too much.

  3. But we would need to have others care enough to post proper tags. It would be cool though, because there are enough good builds out there that get lost in the mix.. I know when this just started up there was a nice AR Device thread where we posted around 20 different builds.. Was a nice place to get different ideas and elements.
  4. This started all from a Suggestion I posted looking for a Gun Swords Primary set. The Sentinel DP/SR version with Ninja tool Master is way way better.. Handled 3/8 out of the box has much more Status protection and resistance. I cannot express how much the Sentinel build is better.. It is doing 4/8 setting. This needed Agility ( at first Tier only ) to help it out. Endurance was bit of a killer.. It does boast positional defense cap. I went with Experimentation Pool for the additional AOE and the occasional buff from Adrenal Boost. I am sure you can get rid of Experimentation Pool and still get the same affects, maybe even better. But its a fun build between the gun and swords..   5. I think having the lowest at 20% for 5k is a decent price.. Just about every toon has recharge via IO set bonuses and/or Hasten as well. Meaning that is obtainable by a non farming player at level 50. Maybe make a 10% Inspiration that drops. Maybe stack-able ? So it would be something else a non farming player could create to make some money on AH ? As I have the ability to farm I am honestly out of the loop. Might need some non farming players to chime in on some reality.
  6. I agree with roleki, Storm is Endurance heavy. But fun set at 50.. I can see Gravity helping out with all the holds.. But I have seen held mobs move back as well. I don't know that is a bug or working as intended. Seen that with Stone cages at least. If you can put a knock back to Knock down IO in Tornado. Hurricane can take one but all it does is knocks down the mob and then repels them back, but hurricane is good during AV fights.. Hurricane is great because it gives you a lot of defenses via -To Hit debuff.. So you can get defense capped with it running.
  7. I didn't look at the procs.. I was just looking at the defense and status info. Cutter has better numbers than I do. Thus I think he is short changing himself some extra xp and inf on not going to 3/8
  8. Just comparing the numbers to my Sentinel DP/SR Build and numerically we are almost the same.. That being said I am doing 3/8 out of the box without incarnates on my build.. Posted here for comparison

  10. Basically have a high priced Recharge inspiration that cuts recharge time by X amount per inspiration.. Its an instant cut off the time..
  11. This build is good. My only stupid gripe is I would try to rework the build to get Explosive Arrow with a KB to KD proc. But 13 second recharge on Rain of Arrows is nothing to complain about.. Explosive Arrow ISN'T going to make or break the build honestly.. Just a personal choice on my end..
  12. Blaster DP Ninja Training full type defense minus Psi - It seems as if the standard sword types are fixed NOT to have invisible weapons when switching between DP and sword attacks. Blaster DP Fire Manipulation - Again almost full typed defense cap minus negative and Psi. Blaster DP Device - Range /Smash/lethal defense cap - double gun drone due to high recharge. Burnout allows 2 gun drones and back to back Hail of bullets.. Issue Gun drone has huge AOE aggro which makes it last only a few seconds in melee range.. Hopefully this will be fixed.. Blaster Martial combat - smash, lethal, range, energy, negative defense cap. Ki Push followed up by a gun shot is just fun to look at..

  14. But here is the caveat.. The discussion and proceeding post within the thread with builds and changes is what makes the build sometimes.. Don't get me wrong but I have seen people post builds and then say this build is doing 4/8 when just looking at the build you already know there are doubts that is occurring. I think the talk after the build sometimes is more important. Would be nice if they sensed build data and auto-magically created a tag for the post. Like mentioned above. Some kind of regex because that pretty much never changes regardless of the color. OR You start the trend.. Hey moving forward when you post a build please create these tags for the build.. Maybe have a sticky on each forum stating that.. Someone sees a build thread and adds the tags. But again that would allow other people to tag your thread. So we would be self policing.. Eventually everyone would get the gist and follow along. But yet again that would require everyone to follow the same format.. So Super Reflexes would have to be Super Reflexes NOT SR, S/R, Super Reflex, Super R.. ETC..ETC... Again the only way to do this is players would have to be allowed to tag other threads. You would have to or should copy and paste right from the text of the build or add whatever combinations in between as long as you search the specific forums. But again I did find Kin builds in the Corruptors forums that helped my Mastermind build. I think the easiest would be Start a Trend with the help of the forum mods to create a sticky The other issue is we would need the option to search tags, which appears we cannot atm.

  16. Kicked it up 4/8 and with only the first tier of the musculature I am have no issue what so ever.. level 54 Mobs of course take longer to kill but its pretty dam solid. I am really not using Caltrops TBH.. I am considering taking up Assault or even Provoke..
  17. I created a Sentinel DP SR Ninja, but I have a Archery Ninja Blaster. Oddly enough I noticed that the Sentinel has no issues swapping between guns and sword whereas the Blaster more than often fights with invisible weapons.. Either the sword does not exist or the bow when swapping back and forth. But again no issue with the Sentinel build..
  18. How this came about. I copied this build. Played it and I got my ass handed to me with every single mezz. I will take full blame for it's failure . But I hated this build.. I asked a question about the mezz, When I got no response I cleared out the IO's went with this Sentinel build. This also came from wanting a Pistol Sword Primary Set posted in suggestions. With every level 50 I do 3/8 Incarnate Alpha unlock mish because it has a decent mix of mobs with Arachnos and Council along with mezz and sleep to test the build out. First off out of the box its is CRUSHING 3/8 settings on the Incarnate runs with tons of mezz and sleep, which is never happen once. This is with the low dps of Sentinels issues and broken HOB from DP.. I did the missions and I can tell you at times I dozed off and still could not be killed by the mobs. I am sure someone will put their spin on it and make it better. Which is good for everyone.. But I can attest this for me is a solid build so far. Either Agility or Musculature for Alpha..   19. Been messing around with it.. Unfortunately it comes back at odd moments.. at any lull and BAM you are doing the spin.
  20. Basically the wind affect ( or is it effect, too lazy to google atm) but without the character spinning. Would be a cool barrier type of look if it could be colored as well.
  21. This is my build Pre changes to Trip mine. I was big on Trip mine an toe bombing but the interrupt was a pain in the backside, so I wanted just a straight shooter. Range cap hover blaster.. Went with as much recharge that I could. So got Full auto down to 17 seconds and Gun Drone down to 50 seconds.. So I get 2 Gun Drones out. My next concern was removing KB which I did. I used to be fire but just didn't feel thematic. AR Device and FIRE ?.. If they had the option to use Full Auto animation to make Bon Fire that might be cool.. a bit more immersive as it looks you are spraying fuel on the ground and lighting it up maybe.. But having a forced feedback IO in Bon Fire was noticeable when it kicked off because the seconds would jump on the recharge timer on Full Auto.. I think I was getting it down to 13 seconds at times. I decided to go Scorpion shield to get the Mechanical Spiders and get another global recharge and also use Web Envelope to keep mobs within the Ignite patch. The sad thing now with Gun Drone is you have to be Hovering away from mobs because they draw just too much aggro. I have a melee device blaster and Gun Drones are useless because they die so fast.. The other oddity is Full Auto Cone from hovering sucks if you don't line it up right.. There are times you could just hit 1 target with this from hovering too high up..   22. Personally I don't mind the build threads.. Wish we could keep sticky some build thread though. There is a older AR device thread that many from the start where tossing their builds in.. That was nice because you wanted AR Device of a certain flavor you could just look there and take your mix and match.
