  1. This tool is fantastic. Thank you for your hard work (and for providing the code).
  2. Thank you. I returned to the game recently. I found that my Staff/SR scrapper was generating a lot of visual and audio "stuff". It was a bit overwhelming at first because of the frequency at which the stuff was happening. With this update I should feel less overwhelmed playing my characters (I use the Sorcery pool a lot). I'm still not a fan of the sound (when it procs). But overall I'm happy for the update!
  3. What are the default settings for enemy faction chat (PvP Zones)? I remember when I zone pvp'ed on the live servers enemy chat was obnoxious. On other games I have played enemy chat is disabled by default. On homecoming, is enemy chat disabled by default? I always assumed it was. But after reading these threads about PvP badges it sounds like that isn't the case. Thinking back to all of those hours I spent in Siren's Call on the live servers, if anyone had asked me to leave them alone I would have never known they were attempting to communicate with me. Although it is pretty easy to tell when people don't want to fight (they don't fight back). I always left them alone unless they popped up as my bounty. Homecoming is the first server I have encountered where you can be punished for PvPing in a PvP zone. That is odd to me. But it is their server, so their rules. In my experience on Excelsior, PvP zones are empty. But it would be nice if the "rules" defined in the OP where stated clearly when you enter a zone. I think anyone who enter Siren's Call and attacks another player would be surprised if they got punished for their actions.
  4. Thanks for the reply. I can't see myself using more than a single digit number of requests (more than likely only one or two) for what I want to do. There should never be a situation where I'm constantly pinging your site, unless I do something really dumb. But I did want to ask before I started helping myself to your delicious data. Thank you for providing this site.
  5. Hello. What is a polite number of requests to make per minute (rate limit)? I'm not a professional webdev/programmer and I'm not creating anything that will be used by others. So I'm hoping that what I will be working on won't be very noticeable to you (or whoever is hosting your content). But just to be safe I would like to know what you suggest. Guild Wars 2 is another game I play and they limit their api requests to 600/min. Thanks!
  6. A few weeks ago I was bored. I started messing around with Python trying to read/extract data from piggs. I was using this link and this link as references. I'm not a programmer. But I was/am interested in how the pigg/bin/geo files work. I have been reading what documentation I can find but as of yet haven't dug into any of the code for the existing parsers (sometimes I enjoy reinventing the wheel). I would find any documentation (or code) you were willing to share to be interesting. I've actually been bouncing between trying to parse piggs and doing the Rust tutorials in my free time. So even more interest from my end. I appreciate those who are willing to share their CoH related knowledge and code. Neat.
  7. An online Mids would be my first choice (and would be amazing). A UI allowing me to silence/replace in-game sounds would also be nice.
  8. In my opinion, adding more than one KB IO would not be overkill. But one does cover a lot. Hope this link helps.
