Finished a 1* LGTF a few hours ago and it's so fun. A lot less annoying than ITF with the Nictus possessions and stuff. A lot of the stuff is avoidable and rewards team play and the new dialogue/cut scenes/map architecture is sublime. You have done very well, this is VIP level content under the old system and we're just getting it so....thank you very much!

I don't see it this way. On a 1606 you're getting less benefit than on the Tanker level HP (Since getting to 1606 from 1200 or 1400-1450 isn't as good as getting to 3212), but even then you get to 1606 pretty easily just with the 3 +HP accos and a few IOs. Frostworks does very little here. It's...fine on Tankers and Brutes, but these builds already have Dull Pain or Click Heals, and also have access to the 3 +HP accos and IO +HP bonuses. Frostwork is currently a set mule and doesn't do a lot more than that. Now, if you were giving my squishies a bunch of Absorb...or even my Tankers Absorb, that would be incredibly, super sweet. And it's something I hope we get someday, or some form of change to FW so that it becomes desirable (even necessary?) when high-end content like multi-star TFs rolls around and the odd Nature is really, really serviceable once you have your Colds (and stacking Frostworks +MAX HP...ehh...stacking Absorb, yes please!).

Maybe swap the single target Level 1 Sleep with a knockback power of some sort, some sort of grenade that's player based area of effect and knocks foes back, I don't know...it seems too much overlap here but the set is super, super sweet overall.

Other: Having TT (Team Transport) work on mixed-alignment teams, for example on Market Crash or 5th Column SF where you occasionally need to go to Ouro to complete. This alone would be a gargantuan time-saver.

"Avoids the Green Stuff" by far. If people don't Incan or aren't alert/quick enough it just fails. "Dodger" was difficult before but now we just get it through raw DPS/T4 Barrier and stuff. "Master" badges aren't particularly hard if you're on a good team and have Discord etc.

I do these all the time. I don't even know what this set is anymore. Force Bubble's repel was amazing, and I'd just toggle it on to bounce adds so we could focus on a single end boss or whatever. It could also be used semi-surgically to "herd" stuff. I get that Cold is de facto king now with its extra -RES, -Special, etc. But not sure this is the right way to go. Force Bolt recharge increase :s. Perma-KB on individual mobs is super sweet. Really wish we could make Force Buble or stuff "modular" like Dual Pistol. 1)Repel bubble 2)+Res/-Res bubble 3)+ToHit+Def/-ToHit-Def bubble Probably too much work though.

Super Gj. Think best I have been on is 1:30 with 90ish defeats. We just tried to crack that 27 defeat mark and ended up with 106. Was a decent team still!

Voted to axe Vet Rewards in AE. This will be the easier of the two options to replicate outside of AE; the Emp Merits to Reward Merits is a trade-off of immediate loot v. no more branch progression. Getting to Tier 4 is still a fair amount of commitment if you do all the powers and it should be fine to get a few IOs for your buiild after that's done. If they want to put a cooldown on it, that would be...ok, but I'd like a cap of maybe 50 emps per day conversion. Too greedy?

I agree Hyper and I...min-max all my stuff almost. I mean I'm farming damage right now for Born in Battle. But people need to play as they wish. One of my friends logs in like once or twice a year and just builds costumes and weird builds then logs back out. The game is super modular; I will say though that with people wanting to get the Aetherized salvage, it's maybe a good time to start on one build you max out. TLDR: I'm really a min-maxer at heart but I'll help anyone, really. I've run into so many cool builds on my farm runs that I just want people to express themselves as they wish. 😍

Just finished a 2HR plus +4 Aeon run on Torch and it was super fun. It got really grindy at times but I think everyone enjoyed themselves for the most part. +0 is pretty fine though if you are running a pick-up group or you want to speed.

Nah. You can legit get on most teams with the craziest, silliest build imaginable. A lot of people don't know mids even exists. Now, if you want to run Master events and so on, there's going to be a bit of a requirement to tune your builds. The game is still very casual-friendly though, and that's one of its best features. Also, you character would be fine, I think. A lot of the endgame stuff is just running ITF or weeklies, so there's a lot of leeway for non-epic builds.

I use AE almost exclusively to level. Get to 50 i n 3-4 hours, then slot up, do my +HP accolades villainside. Removing XP from AE wouldn't really change much, I'd just run farming content redside mostly and invite my friends instead of offering open farm groups on Excelsior. I think that would be a net negative since fewer people would be getting their builds to 50 and fewer people to 50 means less raiding, high-level content and so on. You can always turn XP off to do story arc content, I've done so plenty of times. So, I guess I'd use AE very little of XP was nuked.

That was such a fun time. You had a ladder where you had the obviously elite teams then below them like a bunch of teams just crushing and leapfrogging each other weekly, often with nutso lineups. PvP now is still cool, and graciously held together by the will of its diehards.

/signed. As someone who almost exclusively plays Nature Corr, the Nullifier cancelling is a great boon when in gathers to launch the big Nature buffs. It's also somewhat useful if you have time to fire a Snipe, or to drop Phanton Army, or...any other number of situations where you'd just get rooted and fragged. Good example from Silent with CM, where you basically wave an arm benevolently, only to go to the 1606 dustbin shortly thereafter. Please keep the animation cancel of Nullifer as is, in Arena at least.

@Neuronia, @Shottimus Prime Have: Fire/Nature Corr Fire/Poison Corr Beam/Nature Corr Beam/W/e has Gymnastics Blaster (think it's still slotted) A bunch of Emps, but only the Grav/Emp and Emp/Ice Def have Jaunt Willing to roll a new alt, can PL it to 50 and Alpha but will need help slotting (IOs). Qualifications: I once loaded in on the wrong team during scrims last week. I was also on a 3 v 3 team with Hot and Maverick Hunter and they carried me. Captain: No. Also, please let's not the Overbrook Dam map. (Edited to add 2nd account where my fighter will be.)
