  1. I took it on a solo RWZTF and it solo'd fine, just a little slow on +X/+8. The biggest thing is a lack of AoE damage. It is kinda like whittling down everything around the big target you're chunking with Propel. So there is room for changes to make it more solo friendly - damage wise. You will rarely get hit with softcapped ranged defense when at range. Closing the distance is safe, too, due to having enough melee/aoe defense to get softcapped with the tohit debuffs on mobs from Time's Juncture. And you don't have to worry about Psi damage as much as you're softcapped there and have mez protection from IW. Been playing with some other builds but I do intend to revisit this to get more direct damage into it.
  2. Here's a high end build I have been toying with on my solo server. This particular iteration isn't made yet but it's just some minor changes and, overall, I'm pretty happy with the character. Powers to skip, IMO: Defensive Sweep - can keep in while leveling or building things up, but I like the attack chain of Rend > Follow > Arc > Crushing > Follow. Either or is probably fine. Titan Sweep - Between Whirling and Arc I haven't really needed more AoE. Could always supplement with Epic pools depending on build. Confront - No room for it in my particular build at this time. Can be nice to off tank or peel off squishies in a team. Ground Zero - I could see using this on a Tanker and maybe a Brute. My build is focused on me surviving. I chose Soul Mastery for Shadow Meld (ie Mini-Elude). Capping all defenses for 15 seconds every ~24ish seconds is really great for initiating fights or for prolonged fights. MoonBeam is there mostly for pulling, but snipers have an interesting characteristic (not sure if true on homecoming) but if you exceed ToHit of 95% it becomes instant cast. Cue Tactics with double +ToHit procs in Beta Decay. Having an instant attack to throw at the end of the attack chain is pretty nice. This was the minor change I made to the build - hoping to exploit this a bit more. Mostly using Meltdown for the +damage as it is the highest on scrappers - Don't need it for survival usually due to Shadow Meld. Radiation Therapy and Particle Shielding handle the of survival needs. The addition of Tactics could made endurance an issue. Looking forward to testing it. Also, this is build so you'll be capped on s/l/melee defense with a small luck. So moving around slots and powers is possible if you want to use a different epic (or none). I'm still toying around with both sets, but I figure it is nice to see the thought processes of others.   3. I just so happen to have a build! I haven't tested it yet thought. Made a bane spider first lol. Originally had Hover for another LotG Recharge IO but I swapped it for mystic flight without losing too much recharge. Combat Jumping is just too cheap to drop, imo.   4. Hello everyone! Years ago I found CoH and gave it a whirl with my first character - a Gravity/Kinetics Controller named Infini Dragon. Even after hitting 50 and getting altitis, I would always come back to this troller to build him up over numerous build iterations. Eventually, my main become my Ice/Ice tank and Infini went into a more troll build (lots of +knockback in Wormhole and throwing mobs straight into the air was humerous in lowbie areas). Later on, Time Manipulation was released and I thought it fit the character, thematically, better than kinetics did. However, I could never bring myself to reroll and start him anew. Then the game was shut down and I was left wondering 'what if' all this time. Now that the game is back and making solo servers is a thing, I have been able to rebuild my first toon with all the shiny stuff I would have eventually earned for him! I don't really intend on pursuing it on Homecoming (don't have the time to grind again), but I figured I would play around on my own and build things that others may one day want to shoot for and invest in. A little about this build, it is perma Hasten, Farsight, Chrono Shift, and Indomitable Will (yea I went Psi Mastery!). I also achieved ~47% ranged defense with buffs up, in addition to ~60% Psi defense with IW active. Melee/AoE defense sits just under 34%, but with Time's Juncture, you're basically softcapped there, too. A few caveats to this: Recovery is a bit iffy when spamming AoE abilities. Going Cardiac or Vigor for Alpha slots should help with this (prefer Cardiac for the +Range) No Temporal Selection. It was either this or Slowed Response and I went with the latter as damage with this build is a bit lacking. However, swapping the two with the same enhancement slots - TS still has a ~36s recharge with no enhancements and it is the only way to heal Singularity. But with as fast as singularity recharges and how often I'm not getting hit or controlled, I think the setup works fine. Or, if you're focused on team content and not damage, you could drop Propel for TS. Lack of AoE Damage. Focusing on Bosses with lift/gd/propel while sing/cf do work on minions works okay in solo missions for a team of 8. Swapping into a proc heavy slotting could be feasible, or swapping epic pools. Losing the 10% recharge there takes IW just off of Perma so you'd need to be more mindful of it. I will have to test a proc heavy slotting for CF soon. Anyway, here is the build.   5. Hello Virtue Server of old! I played a few different toons. Infini Dragon, Smiting Dragon, Winter Dragoon, Tsukiyomi, and several others with similar naming schemes. Been so long I can't remember them all, or my old SGs :( Anyway, I just wanted to say hello! I probably won't be super active on live. I have been having a lot of fun with a Solo server testing out juicy/expensive builds that I intend to post to these forums for fun. It's good to be back!
  6. Hello! I have been doing a lot of experimenting on a solo server and I figured I'd take a crack at a build. At least, a probably super expensive one. I aimed for two goals with the build - Recharge and Smash/Lethal Defense and was able to achieve almost perma Hasten (is perma with an Alpha that has +rech) and 33.5% s/l defense (which means with one small luck inspiration you can hit the soft cap of 45%). I didn't really aim to increase resists as they seemed good enough combined with the defense, regen, absorb, and heals. Meltdown also has a decent cooldown time with all the recharge. I tested this build on a solo server and it survives really nicely. Took it on a ITF solo and only really had issues when swarmed by -def. But even then that is just standing there and taking it instead of moving around to let the debuffs expire. Solo'd Requiem in the 3 mission and could probably solo Romulus but the damage was taking forever. Possible change I haven't tested in case you want to be more team support - Dropping Devastating Blow for Ground Zero. DB is really slow and you might be better off just chaining the other three single target hits. Anyway, just my take on the build as a long term project if I were to chase it on live.
