  1. macOS Catalina can't seem to figure out how to run any resolution higher than my default screen resolution. Anything higher causes varying level of screen distortions, as if it cannot put the pieces together correctly. Anyone else experiencing this? I can play in windowed mode, but the game loses SO much detail at this lower resolution.
  2. I just upgraded from Mojave to Catalina and when I start the game, everything is a jumbled mess. Seems like chunks of the graphics aren't lining up with each other. I was able to swap to a lower resolution and it resolved it, but when I turned some settings down, it went back to the mess and now I cannot adjust anything. I was running the 3360x2100 resolution ever since 64-bit was released and it has been fine. Now I cannot see anything when that resolution is set. his seems to be a problem with the changing of the screen size when the game launches (it runs at a higher resolution than my desktop). Any suggestions on a fix? HELP!!

  4. What was your attack chain on the DM/SD? If it included Shadow Maul, that's your problem.
  5. I agree...ST dmg on that toon is bad, but the AoE output is just fantastic!
  6. If you are interested in AoE, I would also suggest checking out Electric/Shield. I have a maxed out Scrapper and he is an AoE monster!
  7. DM's single target attacks, IME, are strong enough that you'll mow down single targets in 1-2 attacks almost every time. Shield charge, Soul Drain and Judgements are more than enough AoEs to supplement and serve as an entry attack chain. My DM/Regen farms maps at +4/x8 and has no trouble moving at a decent pace.
  8. I usually put it in a PBAoE that I used as a starter for my attack chain, then fire off my big dmg ability (another AoE or ST big dmg) right after.
  9. None of them have me very excited...do I just go Musculature for DMG and waste all the secondary affect? Would the +DEF from Agility not matter if I am already soft-capped? What about Cardiac to never worry about END and then get some +Resist so I don't have to worry about softcapping that (or can I even softcap Res w/o an Alpha?) Vigor seems cool, but the combo has almost no healing, so I'd be wasting the core boost. Thoughts/advice? Thanks!
  10. What is the group opinion of Mu Mastery? Is Ball Lightning comparable to Fireball? Mu fits much better with my character concept and the -End stacks with the rest of me Electric Melee powers.
  11. I still enjoy Regen quite a bit. Yes, it was changed from the original OP version, but once you get used to it, it is a lot of fun. You just rotate your 2-3 big 'can't touch me powers' at 50 and are golden. I rotate between Instant Healing, Moment of Glory (which was changed for the BETTER), and my Barrier incarnate. One of the three is always up if you build for Recharge (which you should). It is more active than it used to be, managing clicks, and not the 'set it and forget it' that it used to be, but is still pretty damn good, IMO. My main is DM/Regen, and I've taken down just about every AV solo.
  12. To avoid the Interrupt, I have Field Medic as well, which also aids a bit for END recovery, but it all feels like it will be helpful leveling but not endgame content.
  13. Do you find investing 3 powers into getting a self heal is worth it for this build? I've tried it out through mid-lvls (~35) and it is ok, but I wonder if long-term it is necessary. At 50, I could take the Leadership Powers in addition to the fighting powers, which seems like a better fit, no? And just keep a ton of Greens on hand for when I need to heal. Thoughts on this from your Elec/SD experience? Thanks!

  16. DA is so toggle-heavy, do people use these situationally, or run them all the time? Are they slottable as proc monsters at all?
  17. I love my DM/Regen Scrapper. Not sure why it was mentioned that Regen gets less out of the DM pairing. I'm open to the conversation, but Xyzor is a beast.
  18. How critical is the Mace Mastery to making this build work? Could I go Primal Forces instead for Conserve Power? Is that even needed at late levels? Is END ever an issue?
  19. Which Alpha slot would you recommend? Any slots in Health or Stamina for +end/+heal procs? Also, no travel power? I get the extra utility, but I think I'd get annoyed. If you were to take one, which power would you swap out? Power Boost maybe? Is that power any good? Thanks!
  20. Realizing that some of my end issues now may just be related to that fact that I am still in the mid-game zone (~lvl 40). Once I hit 50 and slot an incarnate or two, I think things will change. I never took MoG on this toon, now or in the old days. I had amazingly sustainable, non-click-heavy build that I loved playing. Your idea is interesting, though, and I may spec into it to try it out once I level-cap. Thanks!
  21. Any other thoughts on this? What about any soft cap or diminished returns? Worth more than 4 slots in QR if I am adding a lot of other Toggles (Tough, Weave, Focused Accuracy, maybe some Leadership powers). Is the, inherent Stamina power worth slotting at all?
  22. How many slots are worth putting into Quick Recovery? Is it worth slotting Stamina at all? Is the Body Mastery Health/Stamina ability worth it with a Regen build, or is there a soft cap that will be hit by the other abilities? Please consider both endgame and mid-game builds. I know I had this all figured out 6 years ago for my DM/Regen, but I can't remember any of it! Thanks!
