  1. not exactly but i think they'd be pretty great and fitting alternate animations. another one that does though is the coralax bile spray and urchins attacks. those could work too as more alternates. i say, the more, the better for us to customize.
  2. the best alternative for poison set alternate animations are some from the DFB hydra head's attacks. that would work better than anything. and can enhance several of the poison set attacks, breathing new life into a great set with subpar animations. there's what, three attacks to pull from? the bubble, the geyser like one, and the cloudy one.
  3. that was another server and we dont want to be that server >_>; we want to be better. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ also, there are technically 4 whip power animations to use. so those 4 + one boost power + four other hellfire powers equals a full set. you can make it 5 whip animations if you double on Lash, using it as the original ranged attack, but also porting it for a meelee attack. then you only need 3 more hellfire powers. that can be pulled from the plethora of hellfire demon powers. ๐Ÿ˜›

  5. if some of the animations from the hydra DFB sewers trial boss's attacks, were ported to several of Poison's attacks with lackluster animations as alternate animations, then poisons would be the perfect aqueous support set. way easier than building an entire set, and would invigorate a great but visually underwhelming powerset.
  6. plant blast could easily be cobbled together using the four ranged thorn attacks, the t1 plant debuff changed to a damage attack, and the remaining powers cobbled from nature affinity and plant control. spore burst as a toxic AoE, a nature affinity plant hold single target dmg attack. etc. ๐Ÿ™‚ so far though, no word on if new cobbled powersets will ever happen on homecoming.
  7. need: using existing assets to smothe out and complete the existing[mechanically] sets like wind control and the power pools, all waiting in the wings. unlocking the "-n" npc creator list but based on their most recent news, it looks like that will not ever happen on homecoming. ๐Ÿ˜•
  8. no, i do not know for mac. but there's probably an answer somewhere archived in the older Titan forums, you might need to do a little digging, but i'm sure its possible if it's as simple as it is for windows/pc.
  9. yeah but they added fire swords. now there's like three or four sets that use fire swords and it feels like overkill. the psionic-whip-sword set, their water set's pet[?], and the orig fire melee set, and blast manip sets.

  11. rant: well, see windcontrol *is* still possible for homecoming. the powerset is already complete and just needs fx to be made more appropriate. and there are plenty of existing assets that can be swapped out, in the same way other sets were completed, i.e. sentinel sets that differ, and some of the radiation sets. [see here: ] oddly, coxg released their wind control right after i suggested this. i doubt there is a direct correlation but it's super coincidental lol. and lots of those npc costumes parts, as you mentioned, from the -n tailor work just fine within the homecoming parameters. including the lamashtu skull bra parts, and the banshee dress, and the cimeroran sandals, and the AE skin, etc. those can be unlocked with the un-tagging just fine. its only the parts on those other servers that theyve created themselves by taking and dividing up NPC's that were whole baked, like freaks and ppd. those parts we wont get, but the other things we still could... if the devs of homecoming cared to unlock it. but yeah homecoming is starting to lag behind ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  13. i love the set, the only thing i struggle with is the fire attacks ๐Ÿ˜ž lol i want to get over them but i cant T_T and it makes me so sad. i really really do like how you built the set. [and my set]. if you could mishmash the fx from other hellfire powers... or even use the sorcery patch if the fx fits better than the fire patch... lol im sorry!!!!

  15. lol yeah no, that's not going to change. the sheer work someone would have to do for a new costume editing interface? there's not THAT many additions really from what we do have. but the ones that are there, are awesome and no real reason [anymore] to be locked behind a silly tag. ๐Ÿ™‚
  16. so, the Icon is a separate version that is essential just the costume creator, also accessible via tequila. You can make the -n edit in files location or parameters, and then access the full costume library formerly only accessible to devs for newer NPC's [the ones not baked as a single whole unit]. In there, it is possible [same as in 'live'] to make a costume, and save the file. Said files are then, if in the same folder, viewable and accessible in the 'live' version of the game. sitting right there on your character model like nothin, but it prevents you from completing the costume change or update because it has an invisible tag somewhere for the NPC parts as 'not for players'. but they work just fine. it seems that a simple removal of this tag or auto check the box without force changing the costumes [costume fix button] would then allow for the full range of costume pieces to be playable 'live'. in the screenies blow, you see when saved costumes using 'dev icon only' parts are loaded into 'live', they load in fine but are tagged somewhere and force a 'costume fix' button, switching out pieces to the player inclusive list. if that force fix button could be auto nulled or players auto tagged with the -n for costume editing or whatever, the costumes can move past the tailor and be played with. thereby greatly increasing our options for play, like long banshee dresses or wizard robes, for example. npc parts from older NPC groups, basically anything pre-praetoria and pre-cimerora, which is the majority of NPCs, are almost entirely one piece baked models and we would NOT have access to any of their parts unless someone goes in and hacks up the models to make new costume parts. But this is definitely an awesome, happy medium. ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. so, it seems simple enough, and we can all rant and rave and beg and plead and explain and suggest til we are blue in the face... but until things in the forums are actually acknowledged by a server leader / developer / coder / owner [i get it, being unpaid and 'im sure they're busy and have lives too], it's all a moot point. ๐Ÿ˜• ::EDIT:: boy did i wake up in a mood or what ๐Ÿ˜ž sorry to be negative, and i am definitely still hopeful. but still...
  19. also, i'd like a little more balance and expansion of the "with skin" options. easy one being the basic brief pattern on skin for males. the bare option is a little boxy. and there's lady pants with basically g-string thongs soooooo, i'd like there to be a little more balance. ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. oh wow! but even if it was just a larger pool of random, i still think that'd be awesome lol. and having the same, identical powers as the original pets only makes sense. thats what you'd want, to avoid mismatching numbers or unfair advantages. customization here should only cosmetic, in my opinion. but yeah ๐Ÿ˜ž that's what i figured.
  22. oh nice!!! thank you! then it'll be easy to create costumes, save them, then go back and reload the original launching minus the additional parameters? i love that, on my computer now, loading tequila and the game itself happens so fast. lol before it would take like, ages to just load up haha now if there was only away to untag it in game for everyone xD
  23. we're playing a dead game with no 'new' development up to par with original development, and already have some things unlocked from the start [ty p2w vendor]. i think it's fine to just unlock the *complete* costume creator, i hated that those things were always locked away. and i don't want to defeat statesman just to wear his tiara. just give me the damn tiara, lol. it wont affect you or anyone else what costume pieces i wear, just let everyone access them all. the best part of this game is the customization, not the 'pay/task walls'. maybe these pieces can be unlocked through a p2w vendor unlock, which purchasing, will unlock the -n / npc character creator but only for that single character? i dunno, it really just seems like a simple 'unlock this tag' thing. and i forget how to edit it. i had Icon on my desktop before rebirth/homecoming, and all i had to do was add "-n" into the file location [see image]. and again, costumes can be saved, and then loaded into homecoming or any of the current servers just fine [rebirth, coxg, wehavecake]. the only thing preventing me from playing using those costumes is the button that says 'costume not available, click to fix'. which shows me that its just an invisible tag in code somewhere that should be switched off.
  24. a thought i shared on another server's discord, but was also deemed too complicated: What if controllers/MMs can get a power, maybe through p2w vendor, (similar to Halloween costume temp, or secondary mutation -monkey, or granite armor... one that changes the skeleton to something new) that only works on their pets (like MM upgrade power only works on owners pet)? And it can be used to then โ€˜customizeโ€™ your pet, til it dies or you have to respawn it, then you โ€˜buffโ€™ it again with the (costume change/monkey/granite armor type of) power? Or does that still encounter the same issue of: cant overlay anything or replace model because then it wouldnโ€™t be the pet anymore thing (?)
