Aha! This may explain why I was so frustrated when my lowbie earth/thermal controller could not get a hold to stick on at-level Arachnos bosses in Twinshot’s “Rescue Manticore” mission. They conned as lieutenants since I was solo. I wasn’t able to hold a single one I encountered during the entire mission, even when I was stacking holds. Exited the mission to put training accuracies in Fossilize and they did no good whatsoever. Edit: I hope the devs check the other control sets besides Illusion for this issue.

Running my new MM Dr. Dinosaur (@Maya Shakti on Excelsior) through Breakout (5-28-19 9:38 PM). Clicked the door for the mission given me by the Arachnos pilot, and found myself in a hero SG base (based on the teleporter pads)! Nobody home except NPCs thank goodness. Ran around confused for a bit, and finally clicked the SG portal to exit, not sure where I'd wind up. Found myself next to the Arachnos pilot, with all Breakout mission progress wiped, but not the Jailbird badge or prestige powers I'd picked up. Had to run back to NPC H.T. and start over. Nice breaking and entering adventure for my newbie villain, whose only regret was that he couldn't scrawl "Dr. Dinosaur was Here!" on the SG base walls. Pictures available if needed.
