    okay just started up playing the game again these past few months and thought i was on to a great idea with this character, just reached lvl 50 and the performance of my toon isnt what i hoped for, if anyone has any tips to help me make him better would be very appreciated, having endurance and defense problems. Damage is okay, but not sure what enhancements would work best with this combination of power

  3. Can I get some clarification on why people like electric armor? I wanted to play a /elec brute and when I did some research a lot of people seemed to like it and said that their /elec brute was a "beast" or "unkillable" but when I went to make one on the test server I had a hard time staying alive. The only time I'm alive 100% is when I pop the support incarnate, but I'd like to be able to play the toon without being too reliant on it. I mainly tested against Arachnos and received mixed results. Some groups I had no problems with, and others didn't even bat an eye and killed me pretty quickly. Am I doing something wrong? I paired it with titan weapons and was enjoying it, end was no problem and the damage was decent. Recharge could use some work though. Any help is appreciated.   4. I wanted a Brute, since I play almost all Scrappers. I wanted to try Claws since I don't have one. Same for Dark Armor, all that endurance drain must be good for something? So why not Claws/Dark Brute? Scratch all my itches at once. This build is currently in the low 40's so will be 50 soon. DEF: S/L 47%; Melee: 46% everything else is in the low to mid 20's RES: S/L 70%; Energy: 52%; Neg 76%; Fire/Cold 65%; Toxic 43%; Psi 78% Procs: Force Feedback is in Focus and Shockwave so it should happen often. Follow Up: Should I slot the Hecatomb proc instead, or leave it like it is? Dark Regeneration: Should I leave it like it is, or is there a better slotting? Incarnates? No clue here. Suggestions are welcome.   5. here's short question for pro PVPers: in lvl 50+ melee pvp, who has higher chances to win 1v1: scrapper or brute? considering best 1v1 melee pvp builds, enhancements and endgame stuff for this fight both for scrapper and brute side.
  6. So yeah, I know Energy Melee is in desperate need of tweaking (which may be coming soon, fingers crossed!), but I'm a slave to the thematic first, stats second. Funnily (or perhaps predictably) enough, that mega-build post someone was kind enough to put up had only ONE build for an Energy/Energy Brute! Thankfully it was at least a flier, which also went well for my concept. The build I've got now is pretty durable against anything other than Psi or Toxic, but doesn't have Taunt. As a result, the lack of any way of getting the attention of crowds reliably (no Punchvoke, only Pokevoke on one thing at a time) means that his only real usefulness is holding an AV's attention. It'd be NICE to deal some more damage, but I'd even settle for just being a decent quasi-tank with Taunt. That said, I'm wondering if I'm just going to end up needing an updated build if and when they finally tweak Energy Melee. Current build posted for reference.   7. Please improve this build, I am at a point where I cant see straight anymore. This is my first resistance based set i usually prefer defense but thought hey why not!! I have 6 out of 8 resistance types maxed 90% IUs there anyway to improve the last two a bit? Negative and Toxic??   8. Hello all. I'm asking for help today to give me every little thing I can get out of my new toy. Her name is Goldirocks =) A little background on me and my toys, she is my sixth Brute 50, all but one is IO'd out to the best of my ability through Mids. I seem to make one, farm with it, get the four major accolades, do TF's with them and have a little fun before moving on to my next creation I know it sounds cruel, but I do go back and play with them all. I put as much inf into all of them so inf is not an issue whatsoever. i'm not trying to brag, I just REALLY love to farm, it's calming to me. I make inf, I spend inf. This one cost me just over $900,000,000. I don't make anything, I sell recipes and use it for inf to max out other toons. That said, my goal with this toon is to have a "Tank" like Brute that can do anything without dying. I have a SS/Fire, but I really hate Rage crash and Stone/ is about the same thing. I have not made anything /Bio yet and herd great things about, so I put the two together to make this toon. This is the best build that MY mind could come up with and make reality. I've been running around with her for a few days now and really am impressed at how much she can take. My goal with her was to do the above mentioned but in doing so I came up short of my goal. My goal was to have her ALWAYS be at cap(cap+) in rest in S/L Res and in Def, if that's even possible. With the six toggles I run, I count the Def Adaptation, my S/L Res is at 80%, my Melee Def is at 15%, S/L Def at 18.82%. This is with Cardiac Incarnate in. Once I run into a group of more then four, my numbe for Res goes to max 90%, but will start to fall as soon as I kill them off, one by one. if I use my Res shield, when I enter the (Farm) group, it will stay at 90 for the entire fight, only to go down a couple points until I get to the EB. She needs no insp to fight and kill/survive in AE or outside. I'm really asking for someone smarter at this then I to help me reconfig this build to try and run the offensive toggle, rather then the +Res one and still be at cap. I'm not even sure it's possible, but I am really sick of breaking it down over and over again just to end up at the same ending (or worse) LOL. If you can rework it, I'm all ears. I'd like to keep as much as possible with the IO's that I have but if I need to seel off the ones I don't need to buying the ones I do, so is life. As, for incarnates, I have not put anything else into them except for the one I have. I would like to maybe go the route of using the Melee one for the extra +Res, when the +Res shield id not up and just alternate them, that way I could get the +End Mod, +Rec Incarnate to help with that. I have zero end issues atm with this build running all those toggles and swinging away. Not sure if +End Mod is better or worse in a build like this then +End Reduc.   9. Folks, I just got a FM/Bio brute to 50 and want to know what builds are out there. Fire seems straight forward, but there are so many toys in the Bio box that I'm a bit overwhelmed. I really like the play and I want to continue her , so any builds/advice/tips would be welcome. I've done some searching through the forums and there seems to be very little info on a FM/Bio brute, but any links would also be appreciated
