  1. I opened a ticket in-game about this last weekend, but then didn't check my email again until this weekend. So the ticket was closed because I failed to respond to their question. Issue: Storm Palace is not awarding credit towards Dimensional Explorer/Plunderer. Reponse to ticket: Are you just stuck at the halfway point? No, Storm Palace is not progressing the bar at all. (Confirmed further down this thread, this zone is bugged!) I found four toons with NO PROGRESS toward Dimensional Warder and logged off one in each purple zone. I took screen shots before I logged them out yesterday, and then left them logged out until today, and took new screen shots. As you can see, when I started NONE of the toons had Shadow Shard Day Job progress. When I logged them in today, the toons in FBZ, Chantry, and Cascade each had the progress bar pop up, but NOT the toon in the Storm Palace. Cascade Archipeligo:

Is it just me, or does anyone else think it is odd that the two Day Jobs, Duelist and Predator (and the Day Job Accolade Gladiator), can be earned in the Arena and in a PvP Zone respectively, but the subsequently granted Temporary Powers (Duelist, Expert Duelist, Predator, Master Predator, Combat Shield) are not usable while in the Arena or in a PvP Zone? Would anyone object to carving out from the current rule of no temporary powers in the Arena or in a PvP Zone with an exception for the above temporary powers? Thanks! ---------------------------------------- Edit: Found a related bug and wanted to nclude with this suggestion - Time Lord's Boon (Chronologist + Cimeroran) is active while in the Arena or a PvP Zone. (See image below).

So! one of the lesser explored mechanics in the game was a little thing called Day Jobs, something that provided a nice narrative element for how your characters spend time off-screen, and provided a small reward for spending time logged off in that job location. However, there wasn't really any further exploration of the concept besides adding in a new day job here and there, most of which didn't even have an associated accolade to progress towards to. I figured since the concept hasn't been tinkered with since CoH's final days, I would take a stab at thinking up some new Day Job Accolade badges that a player can work towards, which I think helps with the following problems with Day Jobs, and badges on general; There are day jobs with no accolades. Some day jobs count towards far more accolades that others. Day Jobs are a means of implementing new accolades without the need of new mission arcs or zones to explore. There would be more badges for those who enjoy badge-hunting or looking for that ideal title. There would be more rewards you can earn for logging off in a single location. More temporary powers More character themes to play with! With all this in mind, here's a list of Day Job Accolades I came up with that I think would better distribute rewards and explore more themes!   4. I noticed in the last day that the Dark Astoria Day Job "Cold Hand of Death" status isn't being granted upon zoning into Dark Astoria (first screenshot). I've seen this on Everlasting Shard. Moving around the area near the DA west gate, well away from the Base Portal and its Day Job zone, I saw the DA status sometimes come and go. When leaving the Base Portal area, DA Day Job status was never assigned after Monitor Duty status dropped. 2 toons on Everlasting are getting what appears to be normal DA Day Job progress. Apparently DA Day Job Status always appears to be assigned on login (second screenshot), so Day Job Badge progress doesn't appear to be affected.   5. I'm sorry if this question has already been asked at some point, but I couldn't seem to find it. What I'm wondering is about how the powers work with the day job accolades. Now I'm not asking about the temporary passives associated with just logging out at a particular day job, but the powers when having gotten 2 corresponding badges and given the accolade. For instance: Midnighter badge + Caregiver badge = Alchemist accolade which gives an ally healing power. I've been working toward some of these powers and recently completed getting the predator and duelist badges which grant the gladiator accolade which supposedly unlocks a defense toggle skill, however I don't see the skill in my list of powers so I'm not sure if I am missing something. The in game description mentions the power, but there isn't much more information on it in game or in the wiki. my question is, do these powers have some other requirement for activation such as logging off in one those zones for a longer period of time to gain the power just like the passive buffs, or is there certain restrictions like the architect vitalize which is only available in those missions, or is this simply a bug and the power just hasn't shown up for some technical reason?
  6. Hi Was told to come report this bug. On a Ferry to do a smuggler day job, if one is too close and the destination window opens the day job receives no credit at all when logged out. Even though the day job icon shows. Crooked smugglers should know not to cheat us and be up front and honest. Pouncy has included a photo of her that shows she does have the day job credit showing while the destination screen is open. But this condition thwarted her noble effort to assist the smugglers in their efforts to... not sure what they do. But Foxes deserve their due just like humankins do. She demands a crate of fish, her name to show in orange instead of that dreadful icky grey, and ... New flea callars for her pack. But mostly her name i ORANGE ya ya she says that for sure. Fish or collars second.
  7. I have taken to exclusively using 'poof-to-base' macros to enter my bases (e.g. /macro base enterbasefrompasscode amazon-963). If your SG base has a passcode set up you can do this. It requires no badges or day jobs, is not subject to interrupts, charges, or cooldwns, and can be used from anywhere. How does this work with day jobs? When you exit your base after entering this way, it puts you back where you poofed from (if open world) or by the door (if an instance). Does time spent logged off from in the base count towards the base badge, or from the outside location badge?
