Greetings, Heroes and Villains alike! I'm new to building characters - this is only my second - and am hoping to get some guidance on this one: My EM/Shield Scrapper. This is not based on any posted builds out there; I made it from scratch. Given my lack of build experience, I'm sure I've made some errors. I suspect it's not the most efficient build. I don't have a methodology for building yet, and I admit to being a bit overwhelmed by all of the options and info available. But I'm sticking with it, and I mean to improve... Been messing around with this build. Wanted to play a goblin type character was thinking dual wield but then went Archery Ninja Training for the swords. Costume wise it ends up being more of a tiny Orc then anything else. Since it has mechanical spiderlings was thinking trying to go with a tech type goblin costume. Its an expensive build with 6 sets of superior IOs. This is a build I was working on. Originally I had the build set up for Melee Defense cap or close to it with 34% Melee and 16% Range, AOE doesn't really matter because the game checks your BEST score. So Ranged AOE and PBAOE will also go against Ranged or Melee respectively. What I quickly came to discover was yes in a group setting I was okay. But if I decided to pull aggro ( accidentally or being over zealous and attacking first out of the group ) I would either go flat from my Range defenses or Mobs running away from Melee would then open up with an attack from Ran
I really enjoy DP because it looks cool. So I played around with a Sentinel build to see what I could get. How the build works. Reminder its Perma Hasten Caveat Master Brawler isn't showing any numbers in MIDs Pine. Link Minds is fire off last 90 seconds. That puts defenses at 45 range and 44 melee and 34 AOE. Rush in and fire of Hail of Bullets which will add 11% to defenses for 5 seconds, which means AOE is capped at 45% as well, for 5 seconds.
