  1. Hey there, So I am really digging the change over from Force of Thunder to Dynamo for the Sustain power. I have an Elec blaster that I've been getting back into pretty heavily the past few days. I'm very happy with my choices, the only thing is that Voltaic Sentinel... (deep sigh) I tried to like it, I really did. I will say that /powexec_location makes it a lot less of a PITA to use than it was back in the day on Live, but the fact remains, having to cast that power all over again every minute is a deal breaker. So, it's out. I figure I'll just pick up another One
  2. This is a concept char, hence the uncommon pairing. Trying to maximize end drain, so I was thinking traps/electric/mu. I know I am not going to drain AVs, but maybe the occasional EB. Force field generator gives me the space to go proc heavy. The new end mod sets give lots of recharge, drain, and defense. In the crazy idea bucket, I found that you can enflame acid mortar and I presume trip mine. Probably not practical but maybe fun. Any awesome suggestions? I will post my initial build once I have tinkered with it more.
  3. Hello Defenders! I was wondering if anyone has a decent Time/Elec build? I've never played either power set before, so I'm at a bit of a loss as to what powers are worth getting/avoiding and what enhancements would help me get the most out of this combination. Any help would be sincerely appreciated!
  4. I'm a noob when it comes to builds so i created this "thing" while checking random ones here and there. I would love to hear more experienced builders commenting and tweaking this cause i guess it seems a bit expensive and i don't think that i did it the right way.     Kin / Elec

    45% S/L & 45% AoE defense. Doesn't have perma hasten unless you siphon speed twice. Doesn't have high resists, it has an overabundance of accuracy which I'm personally obsessed with. It's not really a "I can solo everything" build. More like a "I can run into melee range and have a good chance to survive to fulcrum shift again" build.   6. Hey folks, So I've got an Elec^2 Sentinel with whom I'm quite happy. She's a refreshing change of pace from my Elec^3 Blaster. But I noticed something late last night, and wanted some feedback before I made any changes. On the aforementioned Blaster, I always used Short Circuit slotted for End Drain instead of damage, figuring I had enough other attacks slotted for damage that I could use the utility there. But by definition the Sentinel is a bit leaner in availability of attacks, so I'm trying to be more "efficient" with her. While I was in Mids last night, I realiz
  7. Hello! I'm a long time Ice Armor player; first Ice/Axe (way back in the day) and now Ice/Staff. I find myself wondering about combining Ice with Electrical Melee as a Tanker to synergize the END drain pieces of those two sets. Plus that level 38 teleport in Elec looks like it could be a blast. I don't see much around about Elec though. Anyone tried this? Thoughts on how they might work together? Just thoughts on Electrical Melee and its powers would be welcomed! Thanks!
  8. Link to original reddit thread: I wrote this on mobile so I wanted to share here, the reddit link has a lot more detail! In short, elec attacks have the secondary effect of end drain and a chance to return some endurance. In practice, the end drain is really not noticable vs NPCs outside of select powers that can drain from 100-0 reliably and then keep them there, where it becomes sort of OP. The endurance return when averaged out is also barely noticable in a world with auto stamina and iirc the effect when averaged is less than a training enhancement. In modern media, e
