  1. I've got a lvl 24 water blast/poison corrupter, and I've noticed they run out of endurance constantly, and miss the majority of abilities. I don't have many enhancements slotted. I know most folks wait to build a character till max level, but I'm trying to level them the old fashioned way, as I've never done so before. I know next to nothing about build philosophy, or what I should or shouldn't be slotting. Any advice on what I can grab with 7 mil influence, to keep myself sane, while I try to level would be much appreciated. I'm not looking for a full build, just some guidance in the right direction.
  2. What combination would be the best use of a cold offense that wouldn't get me squashed like a blaster? I really want to use cold/ice because I haven't really messed with it. THANKS!

  8. I want knockback to be more acceptable in CoH. I love the mechanic and would like to see enemies being sent flying all over the place because fun. BUT we all know the main problem, and it's not that we like herding and efficiency. It's enemies getting stuck in the geometry in such a way that; they can't get out, and, we can't "arrest" them. So what can we do to either; stop them getting blasted into the geometry, or, give them a way to get back into the regular playing area?
  9. Ok this pain in the ass changing from anything into human form with no shields up frankly sucks ass. Is there a macro to change into human form and activate shields? At least Gravity Shield and Shadow Cloak, popping into human from Dwarf to hasten and Stygian Circle equal face plant in a mob.
  10. Ok, my newest foray into the world of Domination has led me to a new idea/theme. Hence, Fire and Earth Assault, while attempting the build which is perma, I have found that concessions had to be made to sort of get him to where he is at. There is literally like 10 things that can be thrown at once to really knock some enemies into the twilight zone...flash-fire, smoke, bonfire, fire cages, etc, etc. But, that's another issue I will figure out through playing the toon, but, hot damn sssooo many choices. Which I figured blast the hell out of the baddies, lock 'em down, hop in and smash them to chewy bits of BBQ deliciousness. In addition I tried to get close on def/res caps for s/l. Anyways, I have prepared a build, please, look over and let me know if there is anything that can be changed, or that I missed, or just general advice.   11. EDIT: I remembered wrong, thanks for verifying y'all I thought I was going crazy lmao I grew up playing COH & COV & have fond memories of using the Poison powerset among many others. I created a Corruptor yesterday w/ Psychic blast & Poison powersets, but when I started playing the game I noticed an issue with Poison powerset's first ability, Alkaloid. In the original game Alkaloid could be used as an attack against enemies, or as a heal for friendlies depending on who you had targeted. Now however, Alkaloid is unable to be used as an attack power against foes. Is there a reason for this change? Is this a glitch? Can this be fixed so that the power matches up with the power's description? While it's not game breaking by any means, it was a huge disappointment to discover the power doesn't work the way it's supposed to. Would LOVE to see this fixed or hear any feedback on this issue. I know it's not everyone's favourite powerset, but if it's in the game it should work the way it was meant to, no?

  14. Ok, ok, I looked around, searched through threads, found a couple here and there. BUT, not too much info. So who's got that golden ticket, who's gonna be my Willy Wonka to my Charlie, Virgil to my Dante on this little trip? Leveling a WS is a different kind of beast to be sure, I'm going tri to benefit from everything this AT can offer. I'm at a whopping lvl 9 now heading into the Hollows, and following Dechs MF Warshade as a guide of sorts. So any help, advice, etc is of course appreciated.   16. Been messing with mine and it is just hard to figure out slotting for me, I have respec'd so many times and seem to fail either in end, or soft capping. INF isn't an issue just tired of waiting it on this toon.
  17. Sooooooo....I have a spine/fire planned out, but I tweaked my plan a little and I have 9 slots leftover for Superior Conditioning and Physical Perfection. How would you recommend I slot them?   19. First of all sorry for the wall of text. But I want to make the attempt to get across how I play and what I like about Nature and that I want to see the SCOURGE! I really enjoy playing Nature/ and /Nature. I have a Beast/Nature and Demons/Nature Mastermind (mmm. the resists on demons/nature). I also have a Nature/Ice Defender. I never have leveled a Corruptor past around level 25ish. So I decided to take the Defender and see if I could do a straight swap over to Corruptor. Of course I've found out that the Defenses that were softcapped on the Defender are not soft capped on the Corruptor. Unless I've made a drastic overlook the builds are a true 1 to 1 swap except for Superspeed changing to Fly and Combat Jumping to Hover. I also swapped the Superior Winters Strike, and Thunder Strike IO to each others attacks. It seems to make sense, but it may not even matter damage wise. I also don't really build for Incarnate skills in the builds. This will probably be the first 50 toon that I'm going to actually incarnate. I generally base my builds on how they do in the PI Portal Mission set at +4x8 solo. Right or wrong, I don't know 🙂 Anyways I digress... Lets get to the guts... Defender Stats Corruptor Stats To give some context here is how I generally play Nature when solo. - Entangling Aura one of my loves about the set and I use it as CC and just jump into the fray. I like to have it slotted with at least a few Hold durations to make sure the LT's stay locked down longer since it just a "high" chance to hold mobs. It seems to help the duration bleed over until the next hold pulse lands. I've tried builds with it just 1 slotted with the lockdown +2 mag proc but mobs breaking free still seem to happen a lot due to just the "high" chance not ticking enough and the hold dropping. However, when it comes to slotting, I'm open to any slotting in it as long as it has some hold duration. (unless I'm completely misunderstanding how Entangling Aura's chance to hold and its hold duration actually operates) 1. I use LIfegiving Spores for topping off End and as a Heal patch, I will lay it down from range before I jump into the mob group. 2. Pop Overgrowth > Wilde Bastion > Wild Growth 3. Jump in and slap on Spore Cloud onto a boss for the -to hit 4. Generally, mobs are cc'd at this point. then I cast aoe's and start cycling attacks on the bosses. In groups I will still jump in, but I kind of go with the flow based on team composition and what needs to be done. You know basic adaptability. I don't want to be burden or disrupt flow for everyone. Any ways. I attempted to focus the builds on Recharge to and also Proc'ing attacks as I could. I am posting both builds to see if someone can just give me some input to see I have over looked any Corruptor specific things like the Corruptor ATO' usage. I also want to know if I've made any drastic slotting mistakes that can be cleaned up. The defender version works really really really well 🙂 For corruptors am I using the correct attacks? The goal for this build was to constantly maintain 400% recharge at all times or at least the massive majority of that time I chose energy for the force feedback proc and rad emission for the -regen when fighting AV's My hope from posting this here is to figure out what the hell happened to my endurance and why it is in the negatives Looking into the future I see myself having lots of endurance issues so I will be taking cardiac and ageless I'll take the -defense for interface and assault for hybrid (not a big fan of lore) The reason why I put this info here is because I couldn't get it to show up on mids I believe the endurance regen bug comes when your recharge passes 400%.   21. There are a lot of nice guides in this forum, but I still get a little lost in knowing what to do with which enhancements I should sell, and which ones I should convert and then sell. So I'm going to start this thread and list what enhancements I've crafted and then ask you, the experts, whether I should straight sell, or convert to something else and then sell. All of these IO's are Level 50 (unless stated different) that I crafted today. Should I straight sell them, or is there something I should convert them to and then sell?   23. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations for a tri-form PB trying to hit the softcap in defense in any one damage type? Or, as close as possible? I just don't know how to get there and perhaps I am missing something... Is it possible? (Note, I am unable to post builds due to being on Mac). Thanks for any help!
  24. Couple things first...this is not a "can't you post a Mids build for me" thread, secondly, I have yet to make a Sent. That being said, my question is advice or better yet let me explain my thoughts, I intend to make this toon as a ranged blitz attack style, the secondary will be purely for ranged def and probably S/L because caves, council bases, the claustrophobic areas..you get it. So can a Sent be effective for this play style? With the primary acting as a control damage set because of the KB to force them away if they get too close plus damage obviously, couple this with the "speedster" aspect of SS, and the def and high rech. I've read some of the threads on Sent's and I get the gist of their functionality and how it can be beneficial to team dynamics (seriously what AT isn't in some way), I have a VG mate who loves his Sent's and after watching him enough I know there is a definite viability to them. So now I want to try them. So before I go the route of spending an hour on Mids, min/max a possible build to be proofread, what advice would you give?
  25. I'm having a problem with the Mission Architect system - namely, the game stops responding when I try to make profiles for my custom NPCs. Every time I finish such a profile - in the same format as the hero I.D. cards - the game stops responding, and I get the "program has stopped responding" prompt that means I have to close or wait for the program to respond. And no matter how long I wait, I always have to close the game in the end. When I log back in, I find that my work was saved. But I shouldn't have to go through this EVERY SINGLE TIME I make a new AE NPC. I need some help, here. I want to know how this is happening, and how to fix it. It's making me very upset, because I used to be a very prolific AE writer, and it's hard to get back into the groove when things like this prevent me from putting in the details I would like!
