  1. Hi there, I'm admittedly not great with fine-tuning builds, so have taken elements from builds I have seen and thrown them together. My goals were to achieve Perma PA and from there increase survivability. Unfortunately, I think I went a little too hard on recharge for this build. I'd love it if someone could provide some feedback on how I could better balance things. Even if it means trading out some powers (all I really want is fly/hover as my travel power), for example maybe disruptor blast is a tad unnecessary? Also as a clarifying question, is the limit on multiple set bonuses 5? As in 5 LotG recharges works, but a 6th one wouldn't? Want to make sure I'm not wasting any bonuses.   2. I looked through 20+ pages of this subforum and found only one other post with kin/psy, so I figured I would post something here. I had such a character on Virtue and thought I would recreate him but I don't remember a lot about the build and what kind of slotting would work best. Below is an example of what I have now. I'm sure I don't need to 6-slot Increase Density with Aegis, or Transference with Power Transfer. And I only took Grant Invisibility because I didn't really know what else to pick. And so on.   3. This build was the first one I made upon returning in 2019 and was an awesome experience to level/main. I primarily use it as my Crafter, but I would like to get it in a better place than it is currently (basic IOs) Currently running everything from Necro minus the attacks, Everything from Kin minus Repel, Leadership (Man, Assault, Tactics, Venge), Stealth, TP Target, and Everything from Soul Mastery minus Night Fall. All slots are basic IOs except for 6-slot Zombies/Knights with the two full ATOs in them. I am not object to changing things up fully to play a more involved character. If this means swapping out the Epic/Patron pools, or Inertial Reduction, so be it. Change is good ❤️ Any help would be appreciated. Thank you all for your time and for any future advice ❤️
  4. Here is my current slotting for my Kinetics/Water Defender. I'm quite happy with it, but I do see some holes. Any advice to improve that doesn't break the theme (water/Tsoo lore/sharks!) is welcome. I built heavily towards AOE damage and procs.   5. Even after the fix in the December 1st 2020 patches, Transfusion still occasionally fails to heal when used on targets who die shortly after activating the power. Transference always fails to recover endurance if used the same way. I know some changes were made in November 2020 to the way Transf* works, but it's unfortunate that it's brought back a big flaw to an otherwise great powerset.
  6. If a target is hit by Transfusion, but is defeated immediately afterward, Transfusion's visual and sound effects play, but there's no healing. Steps to reproduce 1. Log in a high level character with Will Domination and Transfusion. 2. Stand next to a solo Hellions lieutenant in Prometheus Park, Atlas Park. 3. Target the Hellions lieutenant. 4. Use Will Domination, and immediately queue Transfusion while Will Domination is activating. 5. Make sure both powers hit. If either power missed, try again from step 2. Expected result Transfusion hits the target, then Will Domination defeats the target while Transfusion is animating. Transfusion's AoE heal still occurs, same as old pseudopet mechanics. Actual result Transfusion hits the target, then Will Domination defeats the target while Transfusion is animating. Transfusion's AoE heal visual and sound effects play, but no healing occurs.   7. Having played my fire/kin controller very casually to 50 utilizing standard crafted fare, I'm now in learning mode to improve him by using sets. What fire/kin builds I've been able to find surprised me with how they're treating Increased Density. On several builds, it is non-existent. On the remaining builds, it is either a 1 or 2 slot power. From far back in the original game, I'd been told that a good fire/kin should hit his teammates both with Speed Boost and Increased Density as a defensive boost. As a result, I should triple slot I.D. for damage resistance, and add a slot for endurance reduction. These builds I'm reading seem to fly in the face of that teaching. Was I misinformed, or perhaps, since I left the game a couple of years before it's end, was there a change that negated that mindthink? And what is probably the best way to look at it now? As a side note, I'd love to see more fire/kin builds to study. I'm not looking to solo, exactly, I'm looking more towards a build that can lay waste to the end game content while still having the tools to support my team.

Just ran a Market Crash with a team on my Elec/Kin controller and noticed that none of my transferrence or transfusions seemed to do anything to anyone in the party (or myself) when they hit the Crimson Prototype. The graphic for the power hitting showed up, so I know that I had hit it, but I didn't receive any endurance when I was in melee range with it and hit it with transferrence. This happened multiple times until it was defeated (both powers). Attack powers worked fine, and my team was receiving my leadership buffs, so I'm confident these powers should have worked as expected. No one else mentioned issues, and the Crimson Prototype could certainly be damaged by everyone and debuffed, just seemed to not work with these two. I'm not sure if Fulcrum Shift was also affected, to be honest I wasn't looking for it as my priority at the time was running out of endurance. The powers worked fine on other mobs on that map, it was just the Crimson Prototype.

    45% S/L & 45% AoE defense. Doesn't have perma hasten unless you siphon speed twice. Doesn't have high resists, it has an overabundance of accuracy which I'm personally obsessed with. It's not really a "I can solo everything" build. More like a "I can run into melee range and have a good chance to survive to fulcrum shift again" build.
