  2. Happy holidays! I have played every type of Defender out there to 50 and back save for Nature and Electric at this point. I found a fun concept for a Nature/Ice, and put together a rough draft build. As I've never played nature before (only level 15 on this guy right now), I'd love the input/advice of nature affinity veterans. Goals I've shot for here: - Softcap Ranged defense. - I let entangling deal with melee along with my stacking hold. I’m running a Necro/Nature MM right now, and I’m starting to think the combo has a lot of potential (possibly on par with a Demons/Therm, but probably less than Bots/Time) thanks to Necro pets’ natural sturdiness being reinforced by /Nature heals and buffs. I’m not very familiar with either set. Does anyone else run this combo, and are there any sample builds out there?

  6. Sure, it's easy to love nature. It's like Time Manipulation (Temporal Manipulation?) - it's a but OP and feels like it never got nerfed down or "normalized." I think I might also be a Dark Blast addict. At least on defenders. Their -tohit is crazy, and it's "ok" damage. While not a fireball, one can still spam Tentacles and Night fall back-to-back ad nasuem. Throw in a snipe or siphon life (I didn't take that on this new alt, though) and it's a solid, active attack chain. Perfect for pairing with powersets that are not as active (e.g. Poison, Nature).   7. I'm looking to reroll one of my characters from live, who was a dark magic-using dark/rad defender. I'm thinking controller, but other than Darkness Control, I'm undecided on the secondary. Obviously Dark/Rad was the original idea, but I've leveled Radiation Emission on controllers to 50 at least once (I think twice? Plant/Rad and Ill/Rad? So long ago now), so I'm trying to consider some other pairings for Dark/ that can feel dark magic-like. So, Dark/Rad, Dark/Nature, Dark/Pain, Dark/Dark, or Dark/???   9. Sorry if this has been covered some place else. I have looked everywhere I can think of and can't find any builds, guides or advice on a Fire Control/Nature Affinity build. So far I have things mostly frakenslotted with set IO's and it is doing very well, but I don't think it's anywhere near its potential. The build has some synergies that I did not expect so I am liking it so far. For attack chains, I use spring attack to tele into a group and immediately pop cinders. I keep hot feet and entangling aura running so foes receive a knockdown, an immediate damage hit, a damage over time
