So me and my VGmates over the course of our Friday night play dates have been running the Shadow Shard TF's. Last night was the Justin Augustine Task Force, out of all the TF/SF I have ever ran that hands down is the worst. Now the two prior ones had there moments but JA was just a waste, players standing around while going to do clickies, fly 20 miles to click something else, over and over again, ugh time sink. Not at all impressed and such a let down, the story was ok, the difficulty on the final mission didn't set well, I had it cranked to +4×8 and the CoT were yello

I put together this list from the sticky post for the Weekly Strike Targets for Double Merits (List at the bottom of this post) I got tired of looking up how many merits were awarded for each Task Force/Strike Force/Trial. The one-off reward (Double Reward Merits + Notice of the Well or bonus XP) can only be earned once per character, per week, even if there’s more than one Strike Target. Tried to run Barracuda SF yesterday. Abandoned it because the Reichsman fight seemed to be unfinishable. Nothing we did was able to stop the AV from regenerating. Apparently the temp power that stops that is given only to masterminds and defenders. We had neither on the team. Kept trying though four 13-minute cycles of Lore pets. Sounds to me like it isn't worth trying.

We just ran the Barracuda SF with 6 toons, but after we defeated all of Recluse's lieutenants and stepped into the machine, the temp powers were inconsistently awarded. Some got the grounding ray and ONE temp power (not 5, per https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Barracuda_Strike_Force#Defeat_Reichsman), some got just the gun, or one temp power, and some got nada. It made completion impossible.
