What: Rough Riders Where: Excelsior (first meeting on the Nova Praetoria star) When: Sundays at 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific US (first meeting on 26 June) Who: The Justice Superteamers (the folks behind the Justice TA, Traps, Radiation, Blades, Earth, Gun, Darkness, Time, Water, Indomitable Sonic, and Excelsior Nature, Knockback, Electric, Thermal/Cold, Dark, TA, Guns, Poison, Stone, and Time Superteams) Why: FUN, fortune, and glory! The Justice Superteamers run many projects to leverage the power of stacked (de)buffs and explore common themes to accomplish things that a random group could not. Come join us on Excelsior for our Teddy Roosevelt inspired Rough Riders Superteam where we'll walk softly and carry big sticks (or pistols) to subdue our foes. Long time vets and new players are all invited as we focus on fun with other friendly players. Power/Build Requirements: Must have either the Titan Weapons, Staff Fighting, Dual Pistols, or Thugs power set Required Powers and slotting: Maneuvers with 2 slots worth of Defense enhancements by level 20. The following are suggested, but if you can't fit them all in, not required: Assault Tactics Other team-focused powers are great too: Vengeance, Victory Rush, Weaken Resolve, Spirit Ward, and Teleport Target are always useful. You're welcome to make use of your other build if you'd like to maintain a solo, PVP, or non project compliant build. Miscellaneous Details: Our first meeting will take place Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 8pm EDT/5pm PDT on the Nova Praetoria star on Excelsior. Feel free to show up fresh from the tutorial (or even skip it). We'll be coordinating the group through use of a global channel named "Justice Superteamers". Everyone participating on this team must join the channel. (/chan_join "Justice Superteamers"). We also have a Discord channel for out of game and voice communication. We'll start in Praetoria and run arcs and events there, but will eventually make ourselves vigilantes/rogues so we can enjoy what Paragon and the Rogue Isles have to offer. We'll be focusing on PVE content (TFs, Contact Arcs, Tips, iTrials, the occasional newspaper/scanner, etc). There is no limit on the number of people that can join us. This isn't going to be a fixed group of 8; the more, the merrier. Feel free to show up late, roll a 2nd alt, etc. Super-Sidekick makes teaming incredibly easy. If you already have a character that fits the theme of this team, or won't be able to join us at the start of this team, don't worry; we'll accept you at any level, any time. Just note that if you're significantly beyond the rest of the team in terms of level, you should expect to exemplar down to the rest of the team most of the time.   2. Hi Homecoming servers! I was just wondering if there was a new updated version of the hero designer for the new changes that have been implemented recently in issue 27 'second chances'. If anyone know where I can find this new version of the hero designer can you please point me to where it can be found. If not and you are capable of making an updated version please, please, please can you make one I'd really appreciate it. I'd like to be able to see how I should build my EM scrapper and rebuild my TW scrapper. Would appreciate answers. Peace!
  3. I've been leveling a Bio/TW tanker and was looking around for a build. Despite lots of people talking about this combination, I could find very few build examples. Plenty of examples for both Bio/something and something/TW, so I picked out bits and pieces and tried to make a cohesive whole. This build is a planned end-game build, primarily because it skips out on so many early attacks. (Defense Sweep and Follow Through hardly constitute a complete attack chain.) I've never played either set to higher levels than my tanker currently is (level 29), so I don't have a great feel for how some of the later attacks work out. In any event, please let me know how this is and whether there are things I could be doing better with it.   4. So the below build is me spending a lot of time on Mids and in-game (I actually farmed up all the enhancements below in the last couple of weeks.) I wanted some input from the community if this was just overkill and if there are any glaring issues because I've stared at it so much I'm going cross-eyed. Alpha is Agility, Destiny is Ageless and Hybrid is Assault (extra hits version.) I kept trimming back on endurance because I was so far over cap when Ageless was up and it might still be too much. I was trying to stretch as much damage and sustainability out of the build as I could. Any feedback at all would be appreciated. Thanks!   5. I wanted to smack things with very large things, so I took Titan Weapons. Not sure why I chose Rad armor, but Rad is pretty good in all the other sets, so I figured it would be here. Ran it up to 50 and was doing some test runs before spending all the Inf on Purples and such. I ended up retiring it because it was about as durable a wet napkin and hit as hard. Like I said, it wasn't purpled, but it was filled out with rare IO sets, so it wasn't in terrible shape. I have let it sit for a while, but I really want to run around smacking stuff with a big stick, so I am hoping to revitalize her,. Also, I have seen everyone talking about how awesome the TW set is, so I figure I must have been doing something wrong. My goal here is to hit stuff really hard and have it crumble before me. I am not looking to be a brutank, to take the place of a tank, but I would like to be able to stand up to at least a moderately hard hit. I have roughed out a build in Mids. Any recommendations on the build and on tactics for playing TW and Rad would be greatly appreciated.
