How good are the lv 35 epic pools and which one should you take and which should you avoid??

In relation to what? All powers can be used effectively based on what kind of build/goal you're looking for but not having any knowledge of what powers you have, or what you are trying to do make it impossible to rationally answer your question aside of offering personal opinions which may made based on what type of corruptor we are using as opposed to what you are playing.

This is largely true, but for corruptors it is generally accepted that you typically want either dark mastery for soul drain or mace mastery for scorpion Shield's s/l/e defense. For a fire farming build you may want fire mastery, but only if you have other ways of buffing your damage (like /kin).

 

But those are just in general, everything changes based on what powersets you have and what you want out of a build.
