Thank you for the extremely kind words. I know what you mean, when I first turned the shader on a lot of my old costumes just looked flat and ugly. Thanks for posting something about how you feel about Cel Shading. I've wanted to vent something for a long time in that I just cannot stand the Cel Shading rendering. I get how it gives that "comic book" look and feel - but details are lost and many of the simpler costumes look bland with it and many of the more detailed costumes look muddy. Finding a costume that is balanced for it is rare (and some people here have done that). But even then, I'd still prefer the in-game look so I can see more clearly what the person has created. I actually get frustrated and disappointed when I see a Cel Shaded post and I have a hard time "liking" what could be an awesome costume just because I feel like it might be incomplete and I can't see the details. I know many others will disagree, but this is my issue and unfortunately how I feel about it. As you note, its a matter of personal taste and I certainly do not want to suggest anyone is wrong for preferring the settings they like. I actually use the cel shader in game but at such a minimal setting that I suspect some people would not notice. A radiation blast/empathy corruptor for whom I've never found a satisfactory costumed look, though I've worked long hours on it. I was originally going for something hooded and winged, vaguely a cross between monk and angel. I finally decided to scuttle much of that, as the costume creator, for all its glory, lacked what I felt I needed. The one thing I could not jettison was the biography concept: that he's a tortured hero, doing what he must, but grieving a lot of the results. As a radiation user, he wields both the power to heal and the power to sicken and destroy. People call him a "saint" for rescuing them. He cannot fully accept that due to the deaths he's caused, villains though they be. Thus the name he settled upon: a lesser saint. So I needed to play visually with dark armor to reflect his dark pain contrasted with the light of his radiation power, partially obscuring his dark visage, which is how he sees himself: a dark soul obscured by the light every good person perceives. I'm still not completely satisfied, but I find the current look more interesting than those previous.
