lemming Posted September 30, 2019 Share Posted September 30, 2019 (edited) Someone was mentioning knockback happenning with Blazing Bolt with their Sentinal a couple days back. I couldn't reproduce any knockback with my Blaster (but then, that power is different in the Blaster Fire set) I tried it on Beta, didn't reproduce though I'll try again. Ok, this time reproduced fine on a level 50 sentinal. Rolled one up to level 20 in Live and in an AE test, noted that Blazing Bolt seems to have a very probable chance for knocking an enemy back. Tried again outside of AE and happens there as well. No enhancements in the power either. Rathulfr Posted September 30, 2019 Share Posted September 30, 2019 (edited) Are you talking about "Blazing Blast" in the Fire Blast primary power set on Sentinels? If so, it's one of the target status effects baked into the power. According to Mid's Reborn, Blazing Bolt has a Mag 3 KnockBack and a Mag 8 Repel (along with a Mag 4 Hold for 0.61 seconds). KB and Repel are different effects, which Blazing Bolt combines for interesting results. The KB-to-KD procs in Overwhelming Force and Sudden Acceleration do apply to the KB effect in Blazing Blast; however, they do not apply to the Repel effect, which is different. It's either my gaming rig or the knockback animation appears to look like a "ball-with-string-stapled-to-a-paddle" bounce, bounce, bounce effect.
